📢 KRISHI DOOT TRAINING

With collaboration with R&D, coordination with WHH, and organized by Aasaman Nepal, a 3-day Krishi Doot ( Community Bussiness) Training was successfully conducted from 27–29 April 2026. 🌱
The training engaged 20 participants from Ganeshman Charnath Municipality, Shahidnagar Municipality, and Janaknandani Rural Municipality, with support from JWAS and PAC Nepal.
The program focused on agri-entrepreneurship development, regenerative farming practices, and linking farmers to enterprises through improved market access, value chain understanding, and promotion of local agri-enterprises. 🚜💚

🌱 Model Farmers Trained on Regenerative Agriculture Practices – Successful Achievement 🌾
A 5-day Training of Trainers (ToT) on Regenerative Agriculture Practices was successfully conducted from 19th April to 23rd April 2026 at Shahidnagar Municipality under the CS4FS (दिगो कृषी) Project.
The training brought together model farmers from Ganeshman Charnath Municipality, Shahidnagar Municipality, and Janaknandani Rural Municipality, strengthening their technical and practical understanding of regenerative agriculture approaches.

🌱 Soil Testing Campaign – A Step Toward Sustainable & Climate-Resilient Agriculture 🌍

The Soil Testing Campaign, organized by Ganeshman Charnath Municipality in coordination with the CS4FS (दिगो कृषी) Project, is currently being conducted at the Agriculture and Livestock Service Center, Godar, Ganeshman Charnath Municipality, with technical analysis support from the Soil and Fertilizer Testing Laboratory, Rajbiraj, Saptari, Madhesh Province.
As a major achievement, soil samples have been successfully collected from all 11 wards of the municipality, ensuring wide and inclusive participation of farming households.

🌿 Key Significance of the Campaign:
✅ Strong coordination between municipality, CS4FS project, and Soil and Fertilizer Testing Laboratory, Rajbiraj for scientific soil analysis
✅ Helps farmers understand soil health, fertility status, and appropriate fertilizer use

Under the CS4FS (दिगो कृषी) Project, World Earth Day 2026 was successfully celebrated across three local levels of Dhanusha district—Janaknandani Rural Municipality, Sahidnagar Municipality, and Ganeshman Charanath Municipality.
Three meaningful events brought together community members, farmers, lead farmers, and model farmers engaged in the project.

5 Days Entrepreneurship Development Training Successfully Concluded 🌱🎉

Under the CS4FS (दिगो कृषि) Project 🌿, a 5-day Eco-Entrepreneurship Development Training (17–21 April 2026) was successfully conducted at Shahidnagar Municipality, with participation from Shahidnagar and Ganeshman Charanath Municipalities.

The training focused on promoting eco-friendly enterprises by strengthening the knowledge 📘, practical skills 🛠️, and confidence 💪 of 25 model and lead farmers. Participants gained hands-on experience in sustainable business planning 📊, market analysis 📈, value chain development 🔗, and green financial practices 💰—resulting in 25 eco-friendly, market-oriented business plans.

Farmers successfully completed a three-day exposure visit, gaining practical knowledge and hands-on learning on improved and climate-smart agriculture practices.
🔹 Observed horticulture practices and received orientation on vegetable & fruit farming at Ushana Pradeshik Bagbani Kendra, Sarlahi
🔹 Learned key Climate Smart Agriculture (CSA) practices in Rautahat including eco-enterprises, drip irrigation, riverbed farming, flood protection measures, nursery management & lease-land farming
🔹 Visited Birgunj Agricultural Tools Factory and understood agricultural tool manufacturing, usage, and importance for efficient farming

On 6th April 2026, the CS4FS Project organized a Public Hearing at Shahidnagar Municipality, bringing together 43 participants, including farmers, municipal representatives, CBO members, and stakeholders.
The event created an open platform to strengthen transparency, accountability, and collaboration between local government and farming communities. Farmers actively raised concerns related to agricultural inputs, irrigation, soil health testing, and service delivery, while municipal representatives provided responses and commitments for improved agricultural support.
Together, we move towards a more responsive and sustainable local agri-food system 🌱

🌟 Entrepreneurship Development Training | March 31 – April 4, 2026 🌟

Under the CS4FS Project, with technical and Financial support from BMZ and WHH, and in partnership with Aasaman Nepal, JWAS, and PAC Nepal, a five-day Entrepreneurship Development Training was successfully organized by PAC Nepal in Ganeshman Charnath Municipality.
The training engaged 28 participants, enhancing their skills in business planning and enterprise management. The program concluded with a closing ceremony, where the Mayor distributed certificates to all participants, marking the successful completion. The training received positive feedback and contributed to promoting local entrepreneurship and empowering aspiring entrepreneurs.
