Every green field tells a story of hope. 🌱
Through the CS4FS "दिगो कृषि" Project, farmers are adopting Dhaicha as green manure to improve soil health, reduce production costs, and grow healthier crops. One small step towards regenerative agriculture, one big step for a greener future. 🌾💚

🌱 Empowering Community Leaders for a Regenerative Future! 🌱

📅 Date: 26–29 July 2026
Successfully completed 3 days of CBOs Capacity Building Training followed by a 1-day Exposure Visit under the CS4FS "Digo Krishi" Project.

The training brought together CBO representatives from Janaknandani Rural Municipality, Shahidnagar Municipality, and Ganeshman Charnath Municipality. The programme focused on strengthening participants' knowledge and skills in regenerative agriculture, sustainable food systems, policy advocacy, leadership, and accountability mechanisms, empowering them to advocate for farmer-friendly policies and promote regenerative agriculture within their communities.

The programme was organized by Aasaman Nepal Page in collaboration with JWAS and PAC Nepal, with technical support from WHH Nepal - Welthungerhilfe and financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Together, we are building stronger community leaders to advance regenerative agriculture, influence local policies, and strengthen sustainable and resilient food systems. 🌾🤝

**From Knowledge to Action 🌱**

Married as a child and raising four children, she comes from a Dalit community where opportunities have often been limited. But with the knowledge gained through CS4FS project training and an exposure visit, she chose to take the first step.

Starting with compost in simple plastic sacks, she used the resources available to her instead of waiting for perfect conditions. Today, she produces vermicompost and prepares Jholmal, helping her grow healthier crops while reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers.

Her story reminds us that lasting change doesn't always begin with big resources—it begins with knowledge, confidence, and the courage to start.

💚 Every small step toward regenerative agriculture creates a stronger, more resilient future.

Agricultural input materials were successfully distributed to 47 farmers including 29 Lead Farmers (LFs) and 18 Model Farmers (MFs) across the three project municipalities to date, in accordance with the schedule distribution plan. This represents 47% of the total target of 100 farmers.

The support is intended to facilitate the practical application of improved farming techniques, enhance learning through field demonstrations, and encourage the wider replication of climate-resilient and sustainable agricultural practices within their communities.

From Learning to Lasting Change

Through the CS4FS Project, young women are transforming the way they farm. By embracing regenerative agriculture, they are shifting from conventional practices to sustainable methods that restore soil health, reduce dependence on chemical inputs, and increase the production of safe, nutritious food.

This positive behavior change is strengthening household livelihoods, improving environmental sustainability, and inspiring other farmers to adopt climate-resilient agricultural practices.

Real change begins with informed choices. When women and youth adopt regenerative agriculture, healthier soils, stronger communities, and a more sustainable future become possible.

🌱 Real change begins when women lead.
An empowered woman farmer is transforming local resources into sustainable solutions by preparing Jhol Mal bio-pesticide—demonstrating that regenerative agriculture starts with knowledge, confidence, and action. Her journey is inspiring more farmers to adopt climate-smart practices that restore soil, protect nature, and strengthen community resilience.
Strong women. Healthy soil. Resilient communities. 🌾💚
