​BMZ को आर्थिक सहयोग, WHH को साझेदारी तथा ASN, JAWAS र PAC Nepal को कन्सोर्टियम अन्तर्गत सञ्चालित CS4FS परियोजना मार्फत PAC नेपालले सर्लाही र महोत्तरीमा अगुवा कृषकहरूका लागि दुई दिने अवलोकन भ्रमण सम्पन्न गरेको छ। ​सहभागीहरूले लालबन्दीस्थित कामधेनु गौशाला र खड्का भर्मी कम्पोस्ट, तथा महोत्तरीस्थित जनमुखी साना किसान सहकारी ('ब्ल्याक गोल्ड' मल) र एग्री अर्गानिकाको अवलोकन गरी व्यावसायिक गँड्यौला पालन, कम्पोस्टिङ र जैविक झोल मल बनाउने व्यावहारिक सीप सिके। ​

यो भ्रमणले रासायनिक मलको निर्भरता घटाई समुदाय स्तरमा माटो संरक्षण र हरित उद्यमशीलता विकास गर्न महत्त्वपूर्ण भूमिका खेल्नेछ।

Exposure Visit: Under the CS4FS project. Funded by The BMZ partnered with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), and implemented by the consortium of ASN, JAWAS, and PAC Nepal.

PAC Nepal successfully conducted an intensive two-day exposure visit across Sarlahi and Mahottari districts for lead farmers and local agri-entrepreneurs.

Over two insightful days, participants gained hands-on learning across key industry models:
Day 1 (Lalbandi, Sarlahi): Explored commercial dairy management, bio-gas cycles, and bulk organic composting at Kamdhenu Gausala, alongside practical vermiculture bedding, earthworm rearing, and harvesting demonstrations at Khadka Vermi Compost Udhog. Day 2 (Bardibas & Pipra, Mahottari): Studied cooperative-led vermicompost commercialization and market branding (Black Gold) with Janmukhi Sana Kisan Agriculture Cooperative, followed by specialized techniques in enriched bio-liquid manure (Jhol Mal) formulation at Agri Organica Bio Fertilizer.

By bridging technical skills with viable market enterprise models, this initiative equips local farming champions to curb chemical reliance, champion circular manure management, and drive sustainable soil stewardship in their communities.

Under the CS4FS project funded by the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ), partnered with Welthungerhilfe (WHH), and implemented by the consortium of ASN, JAWAS, and PAC Nepal. PAC Nepal, a 3-day practical skill development training on Commercial Vermicomposting, Liquid Manure, and Biochar Production was successfully conducted from October 1 to 3, 2026, at Bishnu Basic School, Yadukoha, Sahidnagar Municipality. Facilitated by Agriculture Expert and Training Consultant Mr. Anil Sah, the exercise-driven training equipped 16 local entrepreneurs with direct, hands-on production expertise, valuable market linkage strategies, and fundamental financial literacy skills to run viable green micro-enterprises.

Under the CS4FS (दिगो कृषि) Project in Dhanusha, Madhesh, Leader Farmer Training across Ganeshman Charnath Municipality, Shahidnagar Municipality, and Janaknandani Rural Municipality is strengthening farmers’ knowledge and skills to adapt regenerative agriculture practices, reduce reliance on chemical fertilizers and pesticides, and promote healthier soils and sustainable farming.

A journey that began with awareness and learning through Farmer Field School gradually turned into practical action. SRI practices were applied on 18 dhur of land, followed by field observation showing strong crop growth and 16–17 tillers per plant.

The visible results encouraged another farmer to adopt SRI on 17 dhur of land.

On 1 September 2026, PAC Nepal successfully held the Eco-Entrepreneur Market Assessment Validation Workshop in Janakpur under the CS4FS Project, organized in collaboration with ASN, JWAS, and local governments, with financial and technical support from BMZ/WHH.

Mr. Prasutom Gupta (Consultant) shared comprehensive market assessment findings, focusing on scalable green enterprise opportunities, branding constraints, and value-chain dynamics across target Palikas. Graced by Chief Guest Raj Nandan Mandal (Chairperson, DCC Dhanusha) alongside distinguished local leaders Jit Narayan Yadav (Mayor, Ganeshman Charnath Municipality) and Sunita Singh (Deputy Mayor, Sahidnagar Municipality), the municipal leadership formally pledged institutional support, resource allocation, and policy backing for local green enterprises. Agricultural experts Pradip Kumar Yadav (Chief, Krishi Gyan Kendra), Biplab Gupta (Chief, ABPSTC), and National Rice Research Program representatives underscored the necessity of technical modernization, agro-ecological suitability, and post-harvest value addition. Concurrently, a multi-stakeholder panel comprising Sana Kisan, banking and insurance executives, agrovet suppliers, seed companies, cooperatives, model farmers, and leaseholder farmers provided critical ground-level validation, emphasizing the urgency of accessible credit, risk-mitigating insurance, guaranteed quality inputs, and reliable market linkages to build a resilient eco-agribusiness ecosystem in Dhanusha.

🌱 Empowering Community Leaders for a Regenerative Future! 🌱

📅 Date: 26–29 July 2026
Successfully completed 3 days of CBOs Capacity Building Training followed by a 1-day Exposure Visit under the CS4FS "Digo Krishi" Project.

The training brought together CBO representatives from Janaknandani Rural Municipality, Shahidnagar Municipality, and Ganeshman Charnath Municipality. The programme focused on strengthening participants' knowledge and skills in regenerative agriculture, sustainable food systems, policy advocacy, leadership, and accountability mechanisms, empowering them to advocate for farmer-friendly policies and promote regenerative agriculture within their communities.

The programme was organized by Aasaman Nepal Page in collaboration with JWAS and PAC Nepal, with technical support from WHH Nepal - Welthungerhilfe and financial support from the German Federal Ministry for Economic Cooperation and Development (BMZ).

Together, we are building stronger community leaders to advance regenerative agriculture, influence local policies, and strengthen sustainable and resilient food systems. 🌾🤝

**From Knowledge to Action 🌱**

Married as a child and raising four children, she comes from a Dalit community where opportunities have often been limited. But with the knowledge gained through CS4FS project training and an exposure visit, she chose to take the first step.

Starting with compost in simple plastic sacks, she used the resources available to her instead of waiting for perfect conditions. Today, she produces vermicompost and prepares Jholmal, helping her grow healthier crops while reducing dependence on chemical fertilizers.

Her story reminds us that lasting change doesn't always begin with big resources—it begins with knowledge, confidence, and the courage to start.
