A Brief History Of The School

Shree Gogal Prasad Model Secondary School has a long history itself started on 20th Shrawan 2007 B.S. at Basahiya,Dhanusha by a social activist, Gogal Prasad with thatched roof,later it was built with bricks and stone.Since then, it has been serving people as dignified educational institution. It has been running classes from ECD to class 12 and Diploma In Ci

vil Engineering.In school level,classes from VI to grade X are being run in English Medium whereas classes from ECD to XII are being run in nepali Medium. It offers Classes 11 and 12 in Management,Science and Education,affiliated to NEB. There are nearly 2723 students upto class 12 and Diploma In Civil and 60 teachers and 5 non teacing staffs including partial and governmental. English Medium classes are running in the morning shift. This organization has been presenting students in SLC examination since 2022 B.S. It has rememberable history, passing greatest number of its students in SLC examination. Shree Gogal Prasad Model Secondary School is rich in physical infrastructures.It is located in the south and peaceful area of the Janakpurdham, Madhesh province. The school spread out an area of 1 bigha 12 kattha. Now, there are more than two blocks and multi-stored building.The school has well ventilated, spacious and comfortable classrooms, a wide playground,well equipped physics,chemistry and biology lab, computer lab and library. There is separate staff and administrative rooms. A school bus carry the students from different places and transportation facilities is available. It`s main motto is to assure qualitative ,market-oriented and scientific education.The teachers are very experienced ,friendly and laborious.Their contribution is obiviously the main cause of the
result. SMC, political, social activist, parents and all stake holders have given their contribution to uplift the physical and educational progress. Former principals Late Uday Pratap Singh, Mr.Mahakant Jha, Mr. Narayan Mishra, Late Chandeshwor Lal Karn, Mr. Raj Kumar Mishra, Mr. Rabindra Chaudhary have played vital role to enhance this school. The present principal Mr. Mahabir Das has been playing unimaginable role to uplift the quality and infrastructures of the school.
