Action Nepal, with the generous support of Hart4onderwijsNepal(Dutch Foundation) recently awarded the Sadikshya Scholarship to 107 students at Ramkot Secondary School in Dhading District. The Sadikshya Scholarship aims to support marginalized students in Nepal on a need based approach, contributing to reduction of their absenteeism and dropout rates. As determined by a need assessment, this time we provided School Uniform, stationeries (school bag, exercise copies, calculators, art supplies, and geometric boxes and so on) adequate for an entire academic year to the students. We will continue to assist these children who would otherwise be unable to attend school.

सदीक्षा छात्रवृत्तिको उद्देश्य नेपालका सीमान्तकृत विद्यार्थीहरूलाई आवश्यकता-आधारित सहयोग प्रदान गर्नु हो, जसले उनीहरूको विद्यालय अनुपस्थिती तथा विद्यालय छोड्ने दर घटाउन मद्दत गर्नेछ।
आवश्यकता मूल्याङ्कनका आधारमा यस पटक हामीले विद्यार्थीहरूलाई एक शैक्षिक वर्षभरिका लागि पर्याप्त हुने गरी विद्यालय पोशाक, स्टेशनरी सामग्रीहरू (विद्यालय झोला, अभ्यास कापी, क्यालकुलेटर, कला सामग्री, ज्यामितीय बक्स आदि) प्रदान गरेका छौं।
हामी निरन्तर ती बालबालिकाहरूलाई सहयोग गर्दै जानेछौं, जो अन्यथा आर्थिक कठिनाइका कारण विद्यालय जानबाट वञ्चित हुन सक्थे।

The Youth Leadership Volunteer Camp 2026, organized by Action Nepal in collaboration with DCA Nepal, has been successfully accomplished.
From January to April, enthusiastic youth volunteers from Denmark, including participants from Silkeborg High School, Caravane Group, and Osted Efterskole, worked in rural communities of Benighat Rorang Rural Municipality, Siddhalek Rural Municipality, and Neelkantha Municipality of Dhading District.
Together, they implemented impactful initiatives under livelihood, DRR mitigation, and community development, including the construction of tunnel houses, mushroom houses, foot trails, water collection and soil cement tanks, retaining walls, and railings. Volunteers also contributed to school and community building improvement through painting, gardening, and recreational support.
Beyond physical work, volunteers lived with host families, engaged in daily household activities, went on hike and participated in cultural exchange, learning the Nepali way of life while sharing their own. This journey fostered mutual learning, community development, strengthened bonds, and created lasting memories.

Action Nepal is actively engaged in Disaster Risk Reduction (DRR) initiatives in Dhading district, working in close coordination with local municipalities, the District Administration Office (DAO), the Nepal Army, Nepal Police, the Armed Police Force (APF), different stakeholders and local communities to strengthen preparedness and enhance disaster resilience.
