World Environment Day 2026

June 5, 2026

On the occasion of World Environment Day 2026, NYCA Chitwan successfully organized an environmental awareness program aimed at promoting environmental conservation and sustainable practices.

As part of the program, participants presented an impactful drama highlighting the effects of pollution, deforestation, and environmental degradation. The performance delivered a strong message on the importance of protecting nature and encouraged community members to adopt environmentally friendly habits.

The event served as a platform to raise awareness about environmental responsibility and inspire collective action towards building a cleaner, greener, and more sustainable future.

Empowering Youth for Climate Justice:
Advocacy, Action and Transformation🍀🌍

Nepalese Youth for Climate Action (NYCA) has successfully held its flagship event, the 10th National Youth Conference on Climate Change (NYCCC). The conference brought together young people from a range of academic disciplines, including agriculture, forestry, environmental science, law, business administration, and sociology. Participants represented many communities, ethnicities, castes, and religions, demonstrating a inclusive and broad range of engagement.

Our Core volunteers Dipti Neupane attended the significant event and shared their knowledge and experiences while discussing the climate issue, negotiation, and the role of youth in climate justice and action. The engaging session and the knowledge shared by guest speakers, panal discussion sessions were very effective.

In conclusion, The active participation of youth in the NYCCC demonstrated their commitment to addressing climate change for the sustainable future.
