Suchi Gupta is an economist turned entrepreneur with a Master’s in Behavioural Finance from the University of London. She brings a unique blend of global finance expertise and startup-building experience, having previously worked at Morgan Stanley in treasury, capital, and liquidity management.

She is the Founder of Ecosoaps Nepal, a sustainable luxury skincare brand, and currently serves as the Program Manager for Industry Innovation at NAAMII, where she leads the development of their incubation center. Her work lies at the intersection of entrepreneurship, technology, and impact, with a strong focus on helping founders build ventures that are both meaningful and scalable.

We would like to extend our sincere gratitude to Mr. Sahadev Khatry for conducting an incredibly insightful and engaging session on β€œStartup Legal Basics in Nepal: Registration, IP & Compliance” yesterday as part of the BIS Program 2026. As the Managing Partner at Synergy Law and Chambers and a legal expert specializing in banking, finance, arbitration, and regulatory law, Mr. Khatry shared valuable practical knowledge and real-world legal insights that are highly relevant for aspiring entrepreneurs and startup founders in Nepal.

Throughout the session, participants gained a deeper understanding of the essential legal foundations required to build and operate a startup in Nepal. The discussion covered important areas including business registration processes, intellectual property rights, legal documentation, regulatory compliance, and the common legal challenges startups often face during their early stages of growth. Mr. Khatry explained these topics in a very practical and accessible manner, helping participants clearly understand how proper legal planning can protect and strengthen a startup from the beginning.

A heartfelt thank you to Ms. Prarthana Saakha for delivering such an enriching and impactful session on β€œLean Startup & MVP Design for IT Startups” on Baisakh 27 (May 10). The session provided participants with a practical and strategic understanding of how startups can transform ideas into viable solutions through lean methodologies and effective MVP design.

Through engaging discussions, real-world insights, and interactive learning, participants were guided on the importance of validating ideas early, understanding user needs, minimizing risks, and building products with purpose and clarity.
