Today, Nataliya Yeremeyeva, on behalf of NUAH, took part in the kick-off meeting for a new two-year project «Ukrainian return», supported by HK-dir. We are grateful to be included in this important initiative from the very beginning together with the Institute for Social Research, International Organization for Migration, and Norwegian Organization for Asylum Seekers.

The topic of return is highly relevant, deeply sensitive — and unfortunately often surrounded by speculation. The reality is complex: the number of Ukrainians considering return is constantly changing, the outcomes remain unpredictable, and there are open questions about whether Ukraine is fully ready to receive large-scale returns under current conditions.

That is exactly why this work matters. Thoughtful dialogue, solid research, and cooperation across sectors are essential to ensure that discussions about return are grounded in reality, dignity, and respect for individual choice.

We are happy — and proud — to be part of this project, and we look forward to contributing our perspective, experience, and voice over the next two years.

Millions of Ukrainians are scattered across the world - yet they remain united by their love for Ukraine. One powerful symbol of that unity is the Rushnyk of Victory, an international project that brought together Ukrainians from Estonia, Latvia, Norway, Germany, Poland, Portugal, France, the Netherlands, Cyprus and many other countries - as well as from almost every region of Ukraine.

Each embroidered piece carries a story of resilience and hope. Together, these pieces were sewn into a 200-meter Rushnyk, which was first unfurled in Tallinn on 1 October 2024 - the Day of Ukraine’s Defenders.

Since then, the Rushnyk has traveled through European capitals, sharing a message of unity, strength, and the unbroken spirit of the Ukrainian people - and it has now finally arrived in Oslo.

We at the Norwegian-Ukrainian Advocacy Hub are proud to have contributed with our own embroidered piece, standing together with Ukrainians across Europe.

A heartfelt thank you to Iryna Maksiuk for embroidering NUAH’s rushnyk, and to Nataliya Solodka for making yesterday’s gathering by the Oslo Opera House possible.

Together we move toward Victory - and toward rebuilding our Ukraine. 💙💛

"My Orpheus” er mer enn kunst.

📅 Forestilling: 31. oktober kl. 19:00
📍 Sted: Normoria kulturhus, Kristiansund

In My Orpheus, Ukrainian dancer and choreographer Vladyslav Detiuchenko uses the body’s expressive language to draw the audience into a dreamlike space where reality and fantasy entwine. .

🌍On 11 October, NUAH had the pleasure of taking part in the International Cultural Festival in Nordre Follo municipality - a wonderful celebration of diversity, community, and culture.

There are many ways to support Ukraine - and one of them is by sharing its culture, spirit, and warmth with others. We came together to show that we are many, that we are all different, and that there is space for everyone - regardless of nationality or faith.

The day was filled with delicious food, beautiful songs and dances, conversations, and new friendships.

Thank you to everyone who stopped by, shared a smile, or joined us in celebrating Ukraine and the unity of cultures. And many thanks to NUAH’s co-founder Nataliya Solodka and our fantastic volunteers for making it happen 💙💛

Today, the Norwegian-Ukrainian Advocacy Hub had the honor of hosting a meeting with the Delegation from the Office of the Ukrainian Parliament Commissioner for Human Rights.

The delegation was led by Olha Altunina, who gave her full attention to every participant - asking questions, listening carefully, and providing thoughtful answers.

Topics covered a wide range: from practical issues such as applying for pensions while living abroad, to complex matters like the restriction on traveling to Ukraine for those under temporary protection.

Everyone who attended left with professional guidance, constructive advice, and the reassurance that their concerns had truly been heard.

A heartfelt thank you to all who joined us - your presence, questions, and engagement made this meeting so valuable 💙💛

There are Ukrainian children in Norway who need a temporary home and a helping hand.

Today Norwegian-Ukrainian Advocacy Hub, in cooperation with Bufdir, held an information meeting for Ukrainian foster families to talk about how we can support children, restore family unity, and preserve their identity, language, and culture.
