Som medlemsorganisasjon er denne undersøkelsen utrolig viktig for oss. Svarene gir verdifull innsikt i hvordan engasjementet i EA-bevegelsen utvikler seg, hva som fungerer bra, og hva vi bør prioritere videre. De brukes også til å se trender over tid og når vi lager handlingsplanen for 2026.

Hils på Ayya!

Ayya er praktikant hos Effektiv Altruisme Norge og er hos oss hver fredag. Ayya har et sterkt samfunnsengasjement og er aktiv i Unge Venstre. Hun brenner spesielt for bistand og utdanning i utviklingsland, og ønsker å bidra til en mer rettferdig verden.

Gjennom praksisen hos Effektiv Altruisme Norge får Ayya muligheten til å bli bedre kjent med effektiv altruisme filosofien og bevegelsen. I tillegg hjelper hun til med administrasjon, kommunikasjon, deltar i planlegging og gjennomføring av arrangementer.

Hun bringer med seg både engasjement, nysgjerrighet og et ønske om å lære, og vi er svært glade for å ha henne som en del av teamet. I dag tok hun med verdens beste kanelbolle! Den ble spist opp før vi husket å ta bilde av den.

It’s time to highlight another fantastic member of the EAGxNordics team - Sina Storelv🔸! ✨

As the Production Lead, Sina is the steady hand behind the scenes – wrangling logistics, timelines, floor plans, and making sure every element of the attendee experience is smooth, welcoming, and delicious (we’re especially excited about the vegan menu!).

Sina is drawn to work that helps improve decision-making on a systems level, from coordinating large-scale survey research at the University of Bergen to working on long-term policy at Langsikt. Within the EA community, she’s served on the Board of Effective Altruism UiB and is a proud Giving What We Can pledger.

We’re so grateful to have Sina on the team and can’t wait to see all of the thoughtful touches she brings to EAGxNordics 2025.

Today, we'd like to shine a spotlight on Laura, one of the organisers behind EAGxNordics 2025. As EAGxNordics’ first Baltics Lead, Laura has the exciting task of bringing the Baltics closer to the conference by making sure EAGxNordics is connected with and welcoming to attendees from the region.

"I am an Estonian living in Norway, which is why EAGxNordics is always a great opportunity for me to connect with fellow EAs from across the region. I volunteered at the last two EAGxNordics, gaining valuable insights into organising a conference in a more structured and thoughtful way than I had experienced before.

This year, I am focused on finding ways to make EAGxNordics more relevant and inclusive for attendees from the Baltics. Beyond this role, I am a board member and introductory course coordinator for Effective Altruism Estonia (Efektiivne Altruism Eesti).

The most valuable experiences I have taken from previous EAGxNordics have been new insights into event management, feeling closer to the Nordics community, and personally connecting with open-minded people—through career advice, thought-provoking ideas, and making new friends."

Before that, he co-founded the Maternal Health Initiative through the Charity Entrepreneurship incubation program, testing a scalable model to improve maternal health in Ghana.
