Drone photo from May 15th reveals that 12 out of 13 nests at Taralden are located inside the fenced area.
The colony will be visited later this week, and we are looking forward checking their status. Four more pairs are needed to equal the previous season's 17 recorded nests.

At this time last year, Johannes (J268) and Anna (JZJ) bred outside the fence. This year they have company from around 9 other pairs, thus, the colony at Bile continues to grow. Hopefully, the colony may fully recover in the future.
