VÅRT oppdrag: Å hjelpe mennesker i vanskelige livssituasjoner - materielt som åndelig. POLEN står sentralt med:
- HJELP til rusmisbrukere, hjemløse og fattige med polske Misjon Nytt Håp som partner.
- BISTAND til synshemmede med SAMMEN SER VI som merkelapp for vårt engasjement i tett samarbeid med Misjon Nytt Håp. Navnet TRYGT LY er hentet fra Salme 91

Bibelen med en felles-evangelisk forståelse slik det kommer til uttrykk i

CHRISTIAN FOUNDATION Safety Shelter is a non-profit charitable foundation dedicated to help people in difficult life situations, spiritually as well as materially. OUR GOAL is realized by cooperation with partner organizations or directly by own management. PEOPLE IN NEED in Poland have our main focus, especially TWO groups:
- ADDICTED and HOMELESS people: Polish Mission New Hope is our partner in the engagement for addicted and homeless
- VISUALLY IMPAIRED people: This part is realized by our own management with “Seeing Together” as label - In Polish:

SAFETY SHELTER is in Christian understanding an evangelical and ecumenical foundation. The Lausanne Covenant gives an exact expression of our Christian faith. SAFETY SHELTER is located in Norway – in Hurdal, a small community 80 kilometres north of Oslo. SAFETY SHELTER is organized as a Norwegian registered foundation, registered in the official register of Norwegian foundations and in the official register of business enterprises, The Brønnøysund Register Centre. A BOARD of 3 to 5 members is responsible for the overall management and followed up by the foundation manager.
Åsmund Kilde is chairman of the board and also foundation manager. Deputy chairman: Terje Aadne. Board members: Kristin Lundberg and Krystyna Kilde.
