Representing the Youth Life Project has opened doors to some of the most meaningful conversations of my life where policy meets humanity, and data meets dignity.
One such moment was during the panel discussion on Zambia’s WASH sector budget analysis. WASH (Water, Sanitation, and Hygiene) is not just infrastructure; it’s every nation’s first line of defense against disease, inequality, and systemic neglect. It’s a matter of life and death.
Our voice at the table was shaped by the lived realities of youth, women, and children in crisis. Those we've walked with throughout the SPAII Project under ActionAid. From capacity building to material support, our interventions have been grounded in empathy, evidence, and equity.
These conversations don’t just resonate—they compel us to act. Because when youth-led organizations like ours are invited into policy spaces, we bring not only stories, but solutions.
