“Discover how to bridge the gap between neurotypes”
We are excited after our presentation for an international bank in London last Monday.
Initially we were going to run an autism experience circuit, but over time the request evolved to: increase the understanding of all neurotypes. With this wider perspective, we've replaced some exercises. Moreover, we opted for a format with more interaction. For example, our participants interviewed each other using a questionnaire. This gave mutual insights directly leading to more understanding.
In addition to the combined teaching methods and theory, the three of us offered answers to individual questions in between. And my colleague trainers Bertold Bijkerk and Cor Jongejeugd contributed their experience with the corresponding tips.
After the training, we received compliments and clear examples of what participants had learned with which we can conclude that mutual understanding has increased. And when we presented some bonus material afterwards, the group stayed to experience this one as well. Yes! Mission accomplished!
We are looking forward to our next event about autism and or neurodiversity.
