This week several EILO Board members attended the world Congress of Building Greening in Berlin, organised by BuGG. Thank-you to Balbina, Susana and Michel ! Eilo members Tamas and Gabino were also supporting the green community and our Association. An excellent occasion to exchange ideas, discover innovative projects and interior and exterior landscaping across Europe. This week, several EILO Board Members attended the World Congress of Building Greening in Berlin, organised by BUGG. Bundesverband Gebäudegrün e. V. - BuGG

A big thank you to Balbina Gryczyńska, Susana Rodríguez Lorente and Michel Aebi for representing EILO and helping strengthen connections across the European interior landscaping and building greening community.

The event brought together professionals, researchers and industry leaders to share ideas, explore innovative projects and discuss the future of greener, healthier and more sustainable spaces.

It is inspiring to see so many passionate people working towards bringing nature closer to where we live, work and connect.

Unser Begrünungsprojekt am Hauptsitz der x-tention Informationstechnologie GmbH in Wels (Österreich) gehört zu den Top 5 der Innenraumbegrünungen des Jahres beim BuGG-Wettbewerb 2026.

Wir freuen uns sehr, dass die Element Green GmbH damit mit einem Projekt zu den Finalisten in der Kategorie Innenraumbegrünung gehört.

Das Projekt zeigt, wie Innenraumbegrünung Teil einer Arbeitsumgebung werden kann – nicht als nachträgliche Ergänzung, sondern von Anfang an mitgedacht.

Im Gebäudeinneren entstanden zwei unterschiedlich gestaltete „Waldlichtungen“. Hängepflanzen, Gehölze und begrünte Aufenthaltsbereiche verbinden mehrere Ebenen miteinander.

Mehr als 2.000 Pflanzen aus rund 50 Arten und Sorten schaffen unterschiedliche räumliche Atmosphären – für Austausch, konzentriertes Arbeiten und Rückzug.

Über die Gewinner wird am 10. Juni im Rahmen des BuGG-Weltkongresses in Berlin abgestimmt.
