AI in public health: evidence, skills and collaboration
Our Communications Manager, Şeyma Yüsra Soganda, represented EUPHAnxt at the EUPHA Digital Health and AI Section Annual Meeting in Berlin. The meeting followed the 3rd Symposium “Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Research”, organised by the Robert Koch Institute’s Centre for Artificial Intelligence in Public Health Research (ZKI-PH).
Through hands-on workshops, participants explored the opportunities and limitations of using large language models (LLMs) in evidence synthesis and worked through key AI concepts relevant to public health. The programme also included discussions on the section’s ongoing activities and preparations for the European Public Health Conference in Bilbao.
