YMTE - Young Music Talents in Europe

At the beginning of March, colleagues from the Berlin Bach Gymnasium and the Berlin Senate were guests at the School for Young Talents in The Hague.

The program included deep insights into the structure of the Dutch education system. In addition to the presentation of the entire fantastic infrastructure in The Hague, there were many conversations between the school administrations and the ministerial representatives. Lesson observations as well as rehearsal and concert programs rounded off the visit. The exchange was financed through Erasmus +.

YMTE was invited to a conference about “Talent Development in Hungary in a European context”. Hungary is doing some great work for young music talents, but are cut off from a lot of EU fundings (Erasmus) for political reasons…
