"Mission Pawssible" is a 501(c)(3) US registered animal rescue dedicated to helping animals in crisis situations and countries. Why “Mission Pawssible”?

"Mission Pawssible" is a non-profit organization dedicated to helping stray animals in crisis situations and countries, with a focus on North Africa and the Balkans (e.g. Tunisia, Romania, Moldova, Bosnia, Croatia). In these countries there is a huge stray animals population and there are barely any shelters or active organisations. The possibilities to cure sick animals are limited and there are

big cultural barriers to overcome. Lots of animals are living and dying in misery on the street. In Tunisia stray dogs are considered impure and they are systematically shot by the municipal police in horrific killing campaigns. "Mission Pawssible" started in Tunisia in 2010 and has grown steadily into a very successful project, with more than 1,500 adoptions over the past 12 years all across Europe and in the USA. Our projects include: rescues, adoptions, spay and neuter, education about sterilization, responsible pet ownership & respect for animals. Mission Pawssible is a registered non-profit organization in the US, with 501c3 status (meaning your donations are tax deductible). More than half our rescues are special needs animals, with a handicap, normally considered “unadoptable”(e.g. blind, deaf, three-legged, in a wheelchair). We rescue them, we find them loving homes and we prove that they also deserve a chance to live happy and loved. We strive to give hope to the hopeless and to make the impossible “pawssible”. Our list of supporters is increasing daily and we try to get assistance from all over the world to promote this initiative and help raise funds, so that we are able to save as many as we can. We are volunteers and we do not receive any sponsorship or funding from the government, we rely entirely on donations. Every donation makes a difference and is greatly appreciated. Do you remember Balu and Floki? Our two brave boys from Tunisia who didn't have the easiest start in life? Balu is completely blind, and Floki has very little vision left.

Today, we are overjoyed to share these beautiful updates from their furever home in Germany! 🇩🇪 They go by Stevie & Ray now! 😎 And they are doing absolutely incredible! 🥰

These two are tearing through their new home completely carefree, playful, and full of life. They are catching up on their missed childhood, enjoying their new life to the fullest, and showering their family with so much love.

We want to use this beautiful moment to share an important message: Blind cats are absolute miracles of nature! 🌟

So many people are afraid to adopt a special-needs or handicapped pet. But Stevie and Ray prove every single day: they don't need pity, they just need a chance. They "see" with their hearts, their ears, and their whiskers. Once they know their kingdom, they move so confidently, climbing, playing, and cuddling, that you often completely forget they can’t see. They are absolutely perfect exactly as they are! ❤️✨

A happy ending like this doesn't write itself. Therefore, a huge, heartfelt THANK YOU goes out today to all the angels who made this miracle possible:

(Throwback to her very first meal after her risky surgery!)

When Tina went into surgery, we were terrified. Her little body was so fragile, and the risk was incredibly high! But we had to give this tiny survivor a chance.

And just look at her! 🥹 As soon as she woke up, despite everything she had been through, the very first thing she wanted to do was EAT. That was the moment we knew: Tina is a fighter! 💪

She is now recovering safely in a foster home, but her medical bills are massive, and we are still €500 short. If her fighting spirit touches your heart, please help us cover her vet bills and ongoing treatment, it would mean the world to us and to Tina!

This is Remy’s way of asking for belly rubs… 🥹 She’s impossibly sweet, endlessly trusting, and somehow, she’s still waiting for someone to choose her.

After being abandoned while heavily pregnant, she had every reason to stop trusting humans. Instead, she remains gentle, affectionate, and full of love. All she wants is a soft bed, plenty of belly rubs, and a family who will never leave her behind.

This beautiful girl is Frida and she has already faced so much in her young life. Rescued as a scared little puppy from the bustling streets of Tunisia, Frida has been patiently waiting in a shelter, her big brown eyes filled with hope for a family to call her own. 🏡

And oh boy, does Frida have love to give! 🥰 This cuddle bug lives for belly rubs, ear scratches, and any chance to shower you with affection. 💖 She's a playful and energetic girl who would thrive with an active person or family, ready for tail wags and adventures. 🐾

Frida is a total people‑pup who adores soaking up your love and being the center of attention. She’d really thrive as the one‑and‑only four‑legged diva of the household, so she can bask in ALL the cuddles and cheers. 😄

Frida is about two years old, vaccinated, spayed, and her bags are packed for a one-way trip to her forever (or foster!) home. ✈️

Meet Tina. For 10 years, this tiny, fragile girl survived in a cat colony in Sardinia.

At just 2.3 kg, Tina’s tiny body was covered in painfully matted fur. Her mouth was severely infected, making it agonizing just to eat. Blood tests revealed advanced chronic kidney disease and severe anemia. She was fading. 😢

Her condition was so fragile that anesthesia was a massive risk, but a decision had to be made. Despite being on pain medication, Tina had stopped eating... the agony in her mouth was simply too much. We were faced with a terrifying reality: the surgery could cost her her life, but doing nothing was a guaranteed death sentence. In the end, there was really only one choice. We had to give her a chance to fight.

Because of her severe anemia, Tina needed a life-saving blood transfusion before her surgery. It was an incredibly stressful day. But Tina made it! And when she woke up from anesthesia, the very first thing she did was eat. 🥹❤️

Her horribly matted fur is also gone. The pain in her mouth is gone. After days in the clinic on IV fluids and round-the-clock monitoring, Tina is finally recovering in a warm foster home. 🥰

But her fight isn’t over, and we desperately need your help.
Between the hospitalization, diagnostics, blood transfusion, surgery, and post-operative care the costs have been overwhelming. Thanks to our amazing community, we’ve raised a portion of it, but we are still €500 short of settling her emergency vet bills.

Because of her kidney disease, Tina will also need ongoing veterinary care, daily medication, and a special diet for the rest of her life. As a rescue with so many animals depending on us, this is a huge financial mountain to climb.

But we couldn’t turn our backs on her. She deserves to spend the rest of her life pampered and loved. 🧡

Meet Minouche! This gorgeous girl is a cheerful, active, and playful cat. She is also incredibly smart: she listens perfectly to her name and comes running when called - especially if she knows there’s a treat waiting for her! 🍬

Minouche is young and full of energy. She needs a spacious home where she has plenty of room to zoom around, along with humans who will take the time to actively play with her every day. Because she gets so enthusiastic, her play style can sometimes be a bit rough. That’s why we are looking for an adult-only home (or a home with older children) with cat experience. She needs owners who can read her body language, respect her
boundaries, and don't mind a cat with a little bit of spice! 🌶️

Once she has burned off all that energy, her sweet side comes out and she absolutely loves a good cuddle session. Just keep an eye on her cues - she can sometimes get a little overstimulated by all the love and might give a gentle "love bite" when it gets to be too much. ☺️

Minouche is not a fan of other cats and is looking for a home where she can be the absolute solo princess. She wants all the undivided attention (and all the toys!) entirely to herself. She is perfectly fine being home alone during the day, as long as she has enough enrichment. Access to a safely enclosed balcony or a cat-proof garden where she can relax in peace would be an absolute dream come true for her! ☀️🌿

🐾 Health: Vaccinated, spayed, microchipped, and tested negative for FIV / FeLV.
🐾 Placement: Must be the ONLY cat in the home.
🐾 Ideal Home: A spacious home with an enclosed balcony or cat-safe garden, no small children, and experienced owners who have time to play with her.
