The members of the ASEAN Ladies Circle – The Hague experienced the healing benefits of traditional Thai massage during the coffee morning program hosted by Madam Ittha Mamanee and the Embassy of Thailand on 7 October 2026. The event was held at the Thai Official Residence in Wassenaar.
During the program, Madam Mamanee delivered welcoming remarks and highlighted the rich cultural heritage of Thai massage, noting that its techniques have been passed down from generation to generation and have long been an integral part of Thai culture.
The workshop was facilitated by Da Spa, an Amsterdam-based wellness establishment that has been professionally practicing in the Netherlands since 2008. The participants were introduced to various Thai massage techniques targeting the neck, back, hands, and other parts of the body. The participants also learned massage techniques that may help relieve tension and migraine-related discomfort.
Following the workshop, ALC members were treated to a delightful selection of Thai cuisine, including papaya salad, mussel pancakes, and chicken noodle soup.
The ASEAN Ladies Circle – The Hague is composed of female diplomats and spouses of ambassadors and diplomats from the Embassies of Thailand, Malaysia, Viet Nam, Indonesia, and the Philippines. // END
