The Health and Medicines Information Section within the FIP promotes networking between pharmacists with an interest in health and medicines information.

Health and Medicine Information Section (HaMIS) of FIP offers a forum to share knowledge about information issues relating to pharmacy, medicines, diseases and health, including public health; avenues for networking between groups that provide information services to patients and healthcare professionals; avenues for networking between groups that research in the area of health and medicine inform

ation; opportunities to enhance public health and the work of the profession of pharmacy through information programs and related initiatives. Current areas of interest

_Use of health and medicine information to promote adherence to therapy
_Development of health information technology and delivery
_Writing and publishing health information resources
