Acupuncturists Without Borders The Netherlands is the Dutch branch of Acupuncturists Without Borders. Pop-upklinieken moeten schone, veilige ruimtes zijn.

Acupuncturisten Zonder Grenzen (AWB) organiseert actief steun voor mensen die noodgedwonge

n moeten ontvluchten, waaronder Oekraïense burgers, studenten en migranten uit andere landen, en vluchtelingen uit Afrika en het Midden-Oosten die opnieuw een veilige haven moeten vinden. Momenteel zijn we in Nederland:
Het identificeren en beveiligen van locaties voor pop-upklinieken, om vluchtelingen te behandelen. Wij gaan auriculaire behandelingen geven, daarom hebben wij geen behandeltafels nodig! Patiënten hebben alleen comfortabele zitplaatsen nodig. Idealiter zouden we een tijdsblok van 3-4 uur hebben voor opbouw/afbraak en om behandelingen op voortschrijdende basis toe te dienen. Afhankelijk van de beschikbare ruimte en vrijwillige beoefenaars, kunnen we locaties opzetten op meerdere locaties, met een minimale frequentie van om de twee weken. We willen er ook voor zorgen dat de locaties zo dicht mogelijk bij de vluchtelingen zijn, zodat ze niet ver hoeven te gaan. Als u aanwijzingen heeft op potentiële klinieksites, laat het ons dan zo snel mogelijk weten;

Begonnen met het screenen van geïnteresseerde vrijwilligers. Alle beoefenaars zijn welkom. We zouden vooral graag samenwerken met lokale acupunctuurscholen, om student-acupuncturisten de kans te geven klinische ervaring op te doen door inkomende vluchtelingen te behandelen. Hoewel we de interesse van veel mensen waarderen om directe diensten te verlenen, moeten we eerst een werkbare service-infrastructuur opzetten. Dit kost tijd, geld, planning en hulp bij administratie, logistiek, publieksbereik en het mobiliseren van middelen ter plaatse. Our volunteers invite you to experience a relaxing ear acupuncture treatment supporting well-being, balance, and connection within the local community.

We ask for a small contribution of 5€ per treatment to support our work and help keep it accessible to everyone.

Acupuncturists Without Borders uses ear acupuncture worldwide to support people with limited access to care, including refugees, undocumented individuals, people without stable housing, and people recovering from addiction.

Onze vrijwilligers nodigen je uit om een ontspannende ooracupunctuur behandeling te ervaren die welzijn, balans en verbinding in de lokale gemeenschap ondersteunt.

Keuze uit: • ooracupunctuur • oorzaadjes (zonder naalden)

We vragen een kleine bijdrage van 5€ per behandeling om ons werk te ondersteunen en toegankelijk te houden.

Acupuncturists Without Borders gebruikt ooracupunctuur wereldwijd om mensen met beperkte toegang tot zorg te ondersteunen, waaronder vluchtelingen, ongedocumenteerde mensen, mensen zonder stabiele huisvesting en mensen die herstellen van verslaving.

🧡 Since the beginning of 2026 we have continued working in our established locations, set up clinics in new refugee centres and launched our first clinic in a broad outreach community centre in Rotterdam.

🧡 We now run permanent clinics in Amsterdam, Zaandam, Haarlem, Schagen, Hoofddorp, Utrecht and Rotterdam.

🧡 Our longest running clinic - in Rasom Haarlem 🇺🇦 - deserves a special mention! This clinic has been running in the Rasom Ukrainian Community Centre in Haarlem since 2022. The beauty of this clinic, which serves a group of regular and loyal patients, is that in addition to the NADA ear acupuncture treatments, we are able to offer cupping therapy, aromatherapy and Reiki. This creates a safe and peaceful setting, in which people can experience various forms of relaxation and support.

🧡 In our new locations we witness people approaching us with curiosity and interest, wanting to experience the tranquility and change the Healing Circle evokes.

🧡 It is truly encouraging to see how many people are now finding their way to our clinics, and how all the teams are truly dedicated to this broad operation possible. A heartfelt thanks to everyone who contributes to this effort!
