The African Community Internship and Placement Programme (ACIPP) has grown from a means for financing Abusua Foundation into a completely separate West Africa wide operation now encompassing Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia. ACIPP partners with local organizations in Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia to increase local capabilities and engage local talent. This model allows you to magnify the impact
of your internship by making your programme fees a donation toward future service through local NGO’s. So while you create an impact in communities now with your service in schools, hospitals, and orphanages, etc. your impact continues by paying for foundations to support new projects and open new placements for future interns through increased partnerships. ACIPP West Africa funds and supports projects and youth initiatives from proceeds of fees paid to the programme. This helps small organisations to operate despite the perennial low funding of small grassroot not-for-profits in the region. With 5-years experience in Ghana, we hope to share Sierra Leone and Liberia with the rest of the world; providing LOW COST, competitive internship programmes in Human Rights, Youth Development, Public Health, Agriculture, Media, Environmental Conservation, Education, Mental Health, Sexual and Reproductive Health, etc. Come with US to Ghana, Sierra Leone and Liberia!
