Jenna went from looking for a job to recruiting for Grendel Games in only 8 months. 💨

After being accepted as an executive assistant, her role grew to that of office and HR manager.👩🏻‍💻

If you have been to our Networking IT mixer in December 2025, you may have spoken with her as she represented this game development studio there. 🎤

💈 Our regular Job Hunt Advice sessions are going on a summer break until September. But you can still get your questions answered by joining either of our walk-in sessions in July and August!

💼 No registration needed, simply show up on the day anytime between 10:30 - 13:00.

We bring you these sessions with our partners University of Groningen Hanze University of Applied Sciences, Groningen and UMCG - Universitair Medisch Centrum Groningen .

Sessions are open to any internationals living in the North of the Netherlands, not just those affiliated with our partners.

From a small village in Sweden to a senior commercial role in the Netherlands 🇸🇪🇳🇱

For Malin Morin, building an international career has been all about curiosity, adaptability and the power of connections. 🔄️

Working as a Commercial Director for a company Royal P***k Spices, Malin’s role spans everything from customer relationships and strategy to sustainability, production, raw materials and quality management.

As she says, working for a smaller company comes with a perk of truly diverse roles. And don’t be fooled by the company size - they play an important role on the European bakery business. If you enjoy speculaas, gingerbread, kruidnoten or ontbijtkoek, there’s a good chance their spices are part of that experience. 🍪🧁😋
