ALFinMotion – A Journey Completed, A Partnership Continues.

We have reached the final day of our ALFinMotion – Partnership Mobility in Damascus, bringing together Stichting (DOING) &Phoenix for Development and Empowerment.

From 10–17 August 2026, we shared experiences and knowledge, discussed local needs and future opportunities, and explored how our organizations can continue working together between the Netherlands & Syria.

Although the mobility has come to an end, our partnership does not end here. The connections, ideas and plans developed during these days are the beginning of further cooperation and joint initiatives.

A sincere thank you to Phoenix for Development & Empowerment for the warm welcome and collaboration, and to the Anna Lindh Foundation for making this exchange possible.

We look forward to turning what we learned and discussed into future action.

DOING & Phoenix – Partnership in Action

Stichting (DOING) & Phoenix have officially started their cooperation in Damascus, Syria.

Following the signing of our partnership agreement, we have also begun the ALFinMotion – Partnership Mobility, supported by the Anna Lindh Foundation & co-funded by the European Union.

From 10–17 August 2026, our teams are meeting, exchanging experiences and knowledge, and exploring opportunities for future joint initiatives between Syria and the Netherlands.

For us, this partnership is about more than one mobility: it is about building a long-term bridge for dialogue, cooperation, exchange, and community development.

We look forward to sharing more from our work together.

يسر مؤسسة DOING أن تعلن عن بدء تنفيذ شراكة دولية مع جمعية فينيق للتنمية والتطوير في سوريا، وذلك ضمن برنامج ALFinMotion – الحراك من أجل الشراكات التابع لـ مؤسسة آنا ليند.

تهدف هذه الشراكة إلى تعزيز الحوار بين الثقافات، وتبادل الخبرات، وبناء جسور التعاون بين منظمات المجتمع المدني في هولندا وسوريا، بما يسهم في دعم التنمية المستدامة وتمكين المجتمعات المحلية.

نتطلع إلى مشاركة مراحل تنفيذ هذه المبادرة ونتائجها معكم خلال الفترة القادمة.

Stichting (DOING) is pleased to announce the implementation of an international partnership under the ALFinMotion – Partnership Mobility Programme of the Anna Lindh Foundation.

In collaboration with Phoenix for Development & Empowerment in Syria, this initiative aims to strengthen intercultural dialogue, foster the exchange of knowledge and good practices, and build sustainable cooperation between civil society organizations in the Netherlands and Syria.

Through this partnership, both organizations will work together to enhance institutional collaboration, share expertise, and contribute to inclusive community development.

We are grateful to the Anna Lindh Foundation for supporting this initiative and look forward to sharing updates throughout the implementation.

We had the pleasure of visiting the Arab-West Foundation exhibition, an inspiring experience that brought together art, history, dialogue, and human stories.
The exhibition beautifully highlighted the richness of Palestinian heritage, the importance of cultural identity, and the power of art to preserve memory and encourage meaningful intercultural dialogue. Every section invited visitors to reflect, learn, and engage with different perspectives.
Our sincere thanks to Dr. Cornelis (Kees) Hulsman, the Arab-West Foundation team, the curator Dr. Afaf Badran, and all the participating artists for creating such a thoughtful and meaningful exhibition.
We are grateful for the warm welcome and look forward to future opportunities for collaboration.
