Racing Ae**us Den Helder: one of the four world’s largest sustainability races! Racing Ae**us Den Helder: one of the World's four largest sustainability races.

International student teams race against the wind inWind Powered Vehicles.

2025: 19th - 21st of August Dutch and international student teams race against the wind in Wind Powered Vehicles. This year's race (2022) will be from August 23 - 25. The organising foundation (Wind Energy Events) looks forward to continually challenging the high tech boundaries which make racing against the wind possible

and to set new (world) records! We believe it's definately possible to race harder than the speed of the wind itself. On the Dutch sea d**e, in the city of Den Helder, it might just happen!

🏆 Racing Ae**us Cup winner - CleanMobility

🥇 1st place: CleanMobility
🥈 2nd place: Baltic Thunder
🥉 3rd place: DTU
🏅 4th place: Inventus
🏅 5th place:SE Daikbaikboyz

🏆 Endurance winner - CleanMobility
CleanMobility showed great consistency and endurance throughout the race and took the win in the endurance category.

⚡ Fastest run - CleanMobility
With a result of 113.1%, CleanMobility also achieved the fastest run of the race.

🏎️ Drag race winner - CleanMobility
In the drag race, CleanMobility once again came out on top, proving their speed and performance.

💡 Innovation award - Baltic Thunder
The innovation award goes to Baltic Thunder for their creative strearring system and new/old car.

✨Newcomers award - SE Daikbaikboyz
They stole the show with their car build of already existing materials.

Met een indrukwekkend resultaat van 113,1% behaalde CleanMobility ook de snelste run van de race.

🏎️ Winnaar drag race - CleanMobility
Ook tijdens de drag race kwam CleanMobility als winnaar uit de bus, dankzij hun snelheid.

💡 Innovatieprijs - Baltic Thunder
De Innovatieprijs gaat naar Baltic Thunder voor hun innovative stuursysteem en nieuwe/ oude auto.

- SE Daikbaikboyz
De nieuwkomers van het jaar. Met een auto gemaakt van bestaande onderdelen hebben ze dit jaar de show gestolen.

🇬🇧✨️The last race day✨️

It was a rough day. Rain, sunshine, no sun, more rain, strong winds, changing wind directions, and lot of sun. Real Dutch weather!

Despite the challenging conditions, the teams remained enthusiastic, just like on the previous days, raced as much as they could.

CleanMobility once again completed the highest number of runs, but they did not have the most runs overall. That honour goes to DTU, with 12 runs.

At 19:00, we will have the award ceremony. Let’s see who will win the Racing Ae**us Cup!🏆

✨️🇳🇱De laatste racedag✨️

Het was een pittige dag. Regen, zon, geen zon, nog meer regen, veel wind, draaiende wind en vervolgens weer helemaal geen wind. Echt typisch Nederlands weer!

Ondanks de uitdagende omstandigheden waren de teams, net als de afgelopen dagen, enthousiast en hebben ze zoveel mogelijk gereden.

CleanMobility maakte opnieuw de meeste runs, maar niet de meeste runs van allemaal. Die eer gaat naar DTU, met 12 runs.

Om 19:00 uur begint de prijsuitreiking. Laten we zien wie de Racing Ae**us Cup gaat winnen!🏆

De tenten staan klaar om de studenten teams te ontvangen voor Racing Ae**us Den Helder 2026. Wel een nieuwe uitdaging erbij voor de harde werkers die de tenten moesten neerzetten ... gras maaien en bomen snoeien 😅
