On April 23, 2026, we paid an inspiring visit to Bidfood in Zierikzee! 🙌

Bidfood is a leading foodservice wholesaler that delivers food and non-food products daily to foodservice businesses throughout the Netherlands. It’s a dynamic work environment where logistics, innovation, technology, and inclusion come together.

We had a very pleasant and meaningful conversation about the possibilities within the TechBridge project. It was great to see that Bidfood is open to innovation and interested in assistive technology, particularly within packaging processes.
We were also impressed by the auditory and visual system they use. We’re incorporating this into TechBridge as a best practice in the field of inclusive technology 👏

Pro Work is participating in the “From Ideas to Impact: Erasmus+ Projects for the Twin Transition”, organised by the Erasmus+ Latvija under the VET sector.
Today’s sessions, led by the Dutch National Agency for Erasmus+, focused on strengthening the impact dimension of Erasmus+ projects, with dedicated work on the twin transition and the use of the National Agency’s impact tools.

At Pro Work, we are actively working on how to better design, measure and communicate impact—ensuring that our projects effectively contribute to both the green and digital transitions, while remaining inclusive and accessible to people further from the labour market.

🌍 Preparing for the European Skills+ Competitions

The organisation of the European Skills+ Competitions is in full progress. Together with our partners from the Netherlands, Lithuania, Belgium, Romania, the Czech Republic, Italy, Spain and Greece, we are working towards a strong and well-prepared international event.

Yesterday, all partners came together in an online meeting to discuss key organisational aspects such as transport, accommodation and participant attendance. These moments of collaboration are essential to ensure that everything runs smoothly for both participants and partners.

Around 70 participants from 8 countries will take part, forming 16 teams that will showcase their talents during the competitions.

Step by step, we are building an inclusive and well-organised European event, where talent, cooperation and opportunity come together.

At Pro Work, we are proud to support and organize two youth centers in the municipality of Schouwen-Duiveland: Jeugdsoos Aemstie and Jongerensoos HNK.

Jeugdsoos Aemstie offers a safe and welcoming space for young people aged 10 to 14, where they can meet, build friendships, and take part in a wide range of cultural, educational, and sports activities. With 30 to 60 participants each week, Aemstie has grown into a vibrant and well-attended youth facility.

As a natural continuation, Jongerensoos HNK provides a place for youth aged 14 to 17 to stay connected and engaged. Through monthly events, young people come together in an informal setting to relax, socialize, and take part in activities shaped by their own interests.

Both youth centers are made possible with the support of the municipality and are run by dedicated volunteers, guided and supported by Pro Work. Together, we create safe, active, and inspiring environments for young people to grow and connect.

Exciting times ahead for our Erasmus+ project RE-WORK!

This May, we are bringing partners together in the Netherlands for our final Transnational Project Meeting — a key milestone as we reflect on our journey and prepare for the project’s lasting impact. Alongside this meeting, we are also organizing a dynamic event that is quickly filling up with inspiring contributions.

We are currently finalizing a strong lineup of speakers who will share insights on Agile learning and explore the core themes of RE-WORK. Their perspectives will help deepen the conversation around how we can better support young professionals and entrepreneurs in today’s evolving work landscape.

RE-WORK focuses on responding to the growing challenges of the “Great Resignation” and “quiet quitting” by promoting coworking and collaborative workspaces as powerful environments for connection, motivation, and sustainable careers.

With preparations in full swing, we’re looking forward to meaningful discussions, final ideas, and a strong closing chapter of this project here in the Netherlands. Stay tuned for more updates or go to the website; https://www.re-work-project.eu/

The DEGREE project has now entered an important phase of implementation.

Across the partnership, entrepreneurship education (EE) courses and learning activities are starting, giving learners the opportunity to develop future-proof skills such as green, digital and resilient entrepreneurial competences.

At the same time, in the Netherlands, partners are currently working on activating the micro-credentials pathway that will allow learners to have the competences developed during the courses formally recognised.

This initiative is being developed in collaboration with Amsterdam University of Applied Sciences (HvA) and Pro Work, contributing to innovative approaches for recognising skills and supporting lifelong learning.

🎉 Deadline achieved!

Yesterday at 12:00 PM our foundation successfully met the Erasmus+ deadline. Thanks to the dedication of our amazing team and the support of our valuable project partners, we managed to submit 10 exciting projects.

The projects focus on topics such as:
🔹 VR in education
🔹 Innovation in the labour market
🔹 Entrepreneurship among young people

In addition, we also submitted:
🏅 An inspiring sports project under Erasmus+ Sport
📚 Two Small Scale projects focusing on certification and digital skills for seniors

A big thank you to everyone involved in making this possible. Now it’s time to keep our fingers crossed! 🤞

🚀 TechBridge. Inclusion@Work in action!

Recently, we visited several companies in Zeeland that are interested in participating in the TechBridge project. During these visits, we discussed how inclusive technology can contribute to a more accessible and future-oriented workplace, and how organizations can make use of the services offered within the project.

We are also busy organizing an inspiring roadshow. During this day, we will bring together representatives from various companies to take a look at organizations that are already working with inclusive technology. This will allow participants to experience in practice how technology supports employees, improves work processes, and strengthens inclusion.
Together, we are building, step by step, a labor market in which innovation and inclusion go hand in hand. 💡
