In the lush highlands of Tanzania, Karansi AMCOS is embracing the EU Deforestation Regulation (EUDR) with support from Agriterra and Dimitra Technologies. Through intensive training, 415+ farmers learned about deforestation-free, traceable, and sustainable coffee production.

With 500 farmers set to register in the Dimitra system, Karansi is securing premium markets while protecting the environment. It’s a bold step towards a greener, more prosperous future for Tanzanian coffee. 🌱

When a severe drought in 2024 hit their shea nut harvest, Sugru Nye Bobgu Cooperative in Ghana struggled to repay a loan. However, through collective savings and support from Agriterra, they established a Financial Service Unit, helping them clear their debt and protect their financial future.

𝗧𝗔𝗙𝗔𝗥𝗠𝗖𝗢 𝘁𝗮𝗸𝗲𝘀 𝗺𝗮𝗷𝗼𝗿 𝘀𝘁𝗲𝗽𝘀 𝘁𝗼𝘄𝗮𝗿𝗱𝘀 𝗮 𝗺𝗼𝗱𝗲𝗿𝗻 𝗔𝗴𝗿𝗶𝗳𝗼𝗼𝗱 𝗛𝘂𝗯!

Through an enriching exchange visit to Thailand, the TAFARMCO team and PRDP representatives gained valuable insights into agrifood hub operations, vegetable processing technologies, and precision farming.

With these learnings—and a confirmed €4.5M grant from the World Bank—they’re now better equipped to develop an innovative Agrifood Hub that will strengthen logistics, processing, and marketing for local farmers.
