From data engineer to olive oil founder 🫒
Tasnim Jemli grew up around her family’s olive farm in Tunisia and barely gave it a second thought, until questions about health and purpose pulled her toward something new. Jemly’s is the result: single-origin, cold-pressed olive oil from her family’s groves, brought to the Dutch and German market with a Tunisian name and story attached.
It hasn’t been simple. Over a thousand emails to retailers. Countless follow-ups. A weekly newsletter that documents the whole process, uncertainty included.
Her way through it: keep showing up.

Forward·Inc is looking for Team Facilitators for the Business & Start-Up Booster (BSB) Fall ‘26 cohorts.

If you’re an Arabic speaker who wants to support newcomer entrepreneurs — people with a forcibly displaced background building a new life in the Netherlands — as they learn the basics of business and entrepreneurship, this volunteer role is for you.

As a Team Facilitator, you will:
- Facilitate online team meetings and workshops
- Mentor entrepreneurs as they refine their business ideas
- Guide them through the learning journey and assignments

Time commitment: 5 hours per week
Next cohorts: September 2026 and November 2026

Anna Ponomarenko left Kyiv in 2022 with her four-year-old daughter and almost nothing else. She packed chocolates on a production line, tested products that didn't work, and kept going. Then she found spent grain, the by-product breweries pay to get rid of, and turned it into BeerCrackers: a beer snack built for the culture Belgium already has.

On 18th June, she pitches for €10,000 in front of a live audience, investors and jury panel at .nl, Amsterdam.

Yasmeen Jabri grew up between Beirut and the Gulf, trained in nutrition, and found herself caught between two worlds: clinical science and traditional plant medicine. So she built a brand that refuses to choose between them. Amphi Botanicals bridges both and is redefining what a wellness brand stands for.
