NEXT GEN SUMMIT 2026
Yesterday, Col-AI hosted the Next Gen Summit 2026 — a powerful gathering designed to inspire, educate, and equip the next generation of AI creators. The summit brought together secondary school students alongside their teachers for hands-on learning, practical insights, and meaningful conversations about the future of technology.
We were privileged to hear from remarkable speakers who shared their experiences and vision:
• Dunama Dahiru, Co-Founder of Col-AI, shared innovative ideas and personal stories that highlighted why AI is essential for shaping the future of the next generation.
• Tajudeen Muhammed, Lead of Global AI Yola, offered valuable insights into AI’s growing role and opportunities for young innovators.
• Godiya Zambawa, Lead of NEWIT, delivered a powerful session on self-leadership, reminding students that challenges are part of growth and failure is not the end of the journey.
• Zahra Idries, Lead of Google Women Techmakers Yola, facilitated a hands-on demonstration of an AI tool capable of recognizing drawings in real time — an interactive experience that brought AI to life.
One of the most inspiring moments was seeing secondary school students present a website they built to make schoolwork and collaboration easier, a powerful reminder that innovation has no age limit.
Beyond the sessions, the summit created space for meaningful networking, idea exchange, and connection building essential foundations for the future of tech.
We are especially proud of our Team Lead, Muhammad Tajudeen, who was among the speakers, contributing to the mission of empowering young minds through AI education and innovation.
The future is not waiting. The next generation is already building it.
