📊 DRIVE Project Update – Day 3

Today, we continued our CBT training across two public schools: GDSS Karewa and GDSS Bekaji.

With limited computer access, students are still being trained in batches to ensure everyone gets hands-on experience. Despite this challenge, the progress has been encouraging.

💻 Focus for Day 3:
• Practical use of mouse and keyboard
• Improving speed and accuracy
• Reinforcing left and right click understanding
At the start, many students still struggled with coordination and navigation, but with continuous guidance and repetition, confidence is building.

✅ Key Outcome:
Most students are now becoming more comfortable using the computer independently, with noticeable improvement from Day 2.

🚀 What’s Next:
We move into JAMB CBT navigation and real practice, preparing students for actual exam experience.

This is more than training — it's building confidence, closing the digital gap, and giving students a real chance to succeed.

🚀 PROJECT D.R.I.V.E. 2026 – TRAINING UPDATE (DAY 2)

Today, we successfully completed the second CBT training session with students from GDSS GRA and GDSS Capital.

Due to limited computer access, the 75 students have been grouped into 3 batches, ensuring each student gets proper hands-on experience.

💻 Today’s Focus:
🖱️ Mouse control & keyboard basics
At the start, many students struggled with:
• Navigating the system
• Understanding left and right clicks

But with guided practice and patience…
✅ We achieved over 90% success rate
🎯 Most students are now comfortable using the mouse independently

This is a major milestone—because for many of them, this was their first time ever using a computer.

➡️ Next Phase: JAMB CBT navigation and practice sessions
We are not just training students…

We are building confidence and giving them a real chance to compete.

🚀 PROJECT D.R.I.V.E. 2026 – CBT TRAINING OFFICIALLY LAUNCHED!

Today marks a major milestone as we welcomed all 75 sponsored students to our training center for the official launch of the CBT Training Phase under Project D.R.I.V.E. 2026.

From different public schools across the state, these students gathered with one goal—
👉 to gain the digital skills needed to succeed in the 2026 JAMB examination.
📊 With over 90% of them having never used a computer before, today was more than just a training—it was their first real step into the digital world.
💡 At Taimako Digital Skills and Empowerment Foundation (TADSEF), we are committed to ensuring that: No student is disadvantaged simply because they lack access to technology.

During this training phase, students will receive:
✅ Hands-on computer training
✅ CBT practice and simulations
✅ Step-by-step guidance
✅ Confidence to compete with over 31,000 candidates in Adamawa State

Today is not just a launch…
It is the beginning of transformation.
📍 Location: TADSEF Training Center, Sabru House, Yola
🤝 We appreciate our partner schools and supporters for making this possible.

Together, we are bridging the digital divide and shaping future success stories.

WHY PROJECT D.R.I.V.E. MATTERS NOW MORE THAN EVER
The 2026 JAMB UTME has recorded over 2.2 million candidates nationwide, with 31,321 candidates registered in Adamawa State alone.

Now, here is the concern…
📊 From our Project D.R.I.V.E. beneficiary assessment (students selected from public schools within the state capital), we discovered that:
➡️ Over 90% have never used a computer
➡️ Many lack basic digital skills required for CBT exams
If this is the reality in urban public schools, imagine the situation in rural communities.

💡 This is the gap Project D.R.I.V.E. is addressing.
We believe that: A student who has never used a computer cannot rely on a 2-hour mock exam to suddenly master mouse control, navigation, and CBT exam techniques.

That is why our focus is not just sponsorship…
🎯 Our priority is TRAINING.

We are equipping students with:

✅ Hands-on computer experience
✅ Repeated CBT practice sessions
✅ Real exam simulations
✅ Confidence to compete fairly

Because without digital skills, even the brightest students are at a disadvantage.

Our goal is simple:

👉 Give every sponsored student a real fighting chance among the 31,000+ candidates in Adamawa State.

🚀 Training begins Saturday, 28th March 2026 at TADSEF Training Center, Yola.

Together, we are not just preparing students for exams—we are leveling the playing field.

🤝 Join us. Support us. Partner with us.

We’re excited to share more milestones from Project D.R.I.V.E. 2026!
✅ 53 students are now fully sponsored for JAMB registration and hands-on CBT training.

To ensure fairness and transparency, TADSEF constituted a 3-member committee that selected five public schools:
• GDSS Karewa
• GDSS Bekaji
• GDSS Luggere
• GDSS Old GRA
• GDSS Capital
Each school received 10 slots (5 males & 5 females) to promote gender balance and equal opportunity.

The remaining 3 slots were allocated to Baptist Academy, Yola.
Schools were asked to nominate students strictly based on:
✔ Academic merit
✔ Strong academic average
✔ Good class position
✔ Character and discipline
✔ Consistency in learning
Each nomination was supported with First Term Results to ensure a fully merit-based and transparent process.

📍 JAMB Capturing Update

Yesterday, we began biometric capturing at the JAMB CBT Centre, Capital Schools.

Successfully captured:
• GDSS Karewa
• GDSS Old GRA
• GDSS Luggere
• Baptist Academy

So far:
🎯 29 students successfully captured
⏳ 24 students pending
The remaining students (GDSS Bekaji & GDSS Capital) experienced NIN abnormalities and network issues affecting profile code generation. They have been advised to resolve these before Friday.
By Saturday morning, we continue the capturing process.
Step by step, we are building confidence, ensuring equal access, and closing the digital gap.

Thank you to every sponsor making this possible. We can still do more.
₦10,000 sponsors one student fully.
Be part of the impact.
