🇳🇬 Happy Democracy Day, Nigeria! 🇳🇬

Today, we celebrate the enduring strength of our democracy, the resilience of our people, and the collective hope for a better and more prosperous nation.

As we mark this important day, we are reminded that democracy thrives when citizens are empowered, voices are heard, and opportunities are created for all. It is a time to reflect on our shared responsibility to build a society founded on justice, equality, compassion, and service to humanity.

At Feed the Aged and Needy Foundation, we remain committed to supporting vulnerable members of our communities, promoting dignity for all, and contributing to a Nigeria where no one is left behind.

May this Democracy Day inspire renewed unity, peace, progress, and a stronger commitment to nation-building.

Happy Democracy Day, Federal Republic of Nigeria

🌍 World Food Safety Day 2026

Today, on World Food Safety Day, we join the global community in recognizing a simple but powerful truth: food is not only meant to fill stomachs—it must also be safe to eat.

At Feed the Aged and Needy Foundation, our mission goes beyond providing meals to vulnerable individuals, senior citizens, and underserved communities. We are committed to ensuring that every meal served is prepared, handled, and distributed with the highest standards of hygiene and safety.

Food safety is a shared responsibility. From farmers and food processors to transporters, vendors, organizations, and consumers, every step in the food chain matters. Safe food protects lives, promotes good health, reduces hunger, and strengthens communities.

As the world marks this year’s World Food Safety Day, we call on governments, development partners, healthcare professionals, community leaders, and humanitarian organizations to continue investing in food safety awareness and sustainable food systems.

The World Health Organization reminds us that access to safe food is essential for human health and well-being. Together, we can build a future where no one suffers from preventable foodborne illnesses and where every individual, regardless of social status, has access to safe and nutritious meals.

At Feed the Aged and Needy Foundation, we remain committed to feeding hope, promoting dignity, and advancing food security through responsible and safe food distribution.

Safe Food Today, Healthy Future Tomorrow.

The leadership and entire team of Feed The Needy and Ages Foundation received with deep sadness the news of the passing of the Speaker of the Kebbi State House of Assembly, Rt. Hon. Muhammad Usman Zuru, who died after a brief illness in Egypt.

We sincerely sympathize with the Government and people of Kebbi State, the family of the late Speaker, and especially His Excellency Dr. Nasir Idris, President of our Foundation and Executive Governor of Kebbi State, over this painful loss.

We pray that Almighty Allah forgives his shortcomings, grants him Aljannah Firdaus, and comforts his family and loved ones during this difficult time.
