e motherhood,provision of sustainable menstrual hygiene management, increased access to affordable contraceptive methods, counseling, prenatal care, postnatal care and effective prevention of sexually transmitted diseases through promotion of safe sexual behavior .Other issues which pose as a public health challenge, such as control of communicable and non communicable diseases like malaria, cancer, hypertension, diabetes, tuberculosis and HIV/AIDS is also addressed. It also focuses on ensuring a healthy, productive and strong beginning for children through disease control and immunization against common childhood diseases.
