Today, we join the world to mark World Tuberculosis Day (March 24).

Theme for 2026:
“Yes! We Can End TB: Led by the Federal Ministry of Health, Powered by Communities.”

This reminds us that ending TB depends on all of us through awareness, early testing, and community action.
Together, we can end TB in Delta State and beyond.

✨ Happy World TB Day!

TB Screening Outreach | Bomadi

We carried out a medical outreach in Bomadi area, Delta State, focused on tuberculosis (TB) screening.
The purpose of this outreach was to support early detection, increase TB awareness, and strengthen community health through prevention and timely referral.

Why TB screening matters:
Tuberculosis is curable and preventable when detected early. TB mainly affects the lungs and spreads through the air when an infected person coughs or sneezes. Early screening helps stop the spread, protect families, and save lives.
Common symptoms include persistent cough (2 weeks or more), weight loss, fever, and night sweats.

📍Location: Bomadi Area, Delta State
🎯 Purpose: TB screening, early detection, and community health prevention

Malaria is preventable and treatable.
Sleeping under insecticide-treated nets, keeping your environment clean, and seeking early treatment can save lives.
Let’s protect our families and communities—especially pregnant women and children under 5.

MOV for DRTB Patient Tracking

Every record, follow-up, and visit is a means of verification that Drug-Resistant TB patients are being supported and retained in care.
Tracking saves lives. Accountability improves outcomes.
At OAODF, we track DRTB patients to the end of their treatment — because consistent care saves lives.
