REPORT ON MONITORING OF BIOMETRIC CAPTURING OF WAEC CANDIDATES AT OZUE SECONDARY SCHOOL OKUOVU.
On Wednesday 21st, 2026, I represented my Principal, the Founder/President of KO Aghomishe Foundation, during the monitoring of the biometric capturing of forty-three (43) students of Ozue Secondary School, Okuovu, who will be sitting for the West African Senior School Certificate Examination (WAEC) later this year. The students are fully sponsored by KO Aghomishe Foundation.
The visit provided me the opportunity to address the entire students of the school, where I spoke extensively on the importance of education in the life of every individual. I described education as the bedrock of society and a key instrument for personal and national development.
I charged the students—particularly the beneficiaries of the WAEC sponsorship—to take their studies seriously, remain disciplined, and make good use of the rare opportunity provided to them through the foundation’s support.
During the interaction, I also formally announced to the school management and students that KO Aghomishe Foundation will no longer sponsor WAEC enrollment for external candidates. Going forward, the foundation will only attend to internal students of Ozue Secondary School, Okuovu.
Students who wish to benefit from the foundation’s WAEC scholarship program were therefore advised to return to the school for full academic studies in order to qualify.
I further used the occasion to commend and appreciate the school management, led by the Principal, Mrs. Lydia Oboreh, for their dedication and efforts in providing a conducive environment for effective teaching and learning.
In her response, speaking on behalf of the management, Mrs. Lydia Oboreh expressed profound gratitude to the President and Management of KO Aghomishe Foundation for their kind gesture. She noted that the foundation’s intervention has put smiles on the faces of the students and relieved parents of the heavy financial burden associated with WAEC enrollment.
According to her, words are not enough to adequately appreciate this noble gesture.
