The Chairman of Soso Pondi Welfare Foundation, Mr Seisingha Joseph Pondi, officially endorsed the forthcoming Aketekpe Sports Event, organized by the National Association of Gbaramatu Students (NAGS) under the leadership of its Acting President, Comr. Seigha Nesiama.
In his remarks, the Chairman commended the association for their initiative and charged them to remain diligent in their dealings while upholding inclusive leadership that accommodates all stakeholders. He further noted that the vision behind the program aligns perfectly with the foundation’s motto of “Creating Opportunities and Inspiring Change.”
The Aketekpe Sports Event is expected to feature exciting activities including relay races, 100m and 200m races, sack races, tug of war, and other sporting competitions, with active participation from Gbaramatu students and stakeholders across the kingdom.
The Foundation expressed its full support for the event, emphasizing that such youth-driven initiatives are vital in fostering unity, discipline, and opportunities for growth among the Gbaramatu people.
