*NEW DEVELOPMENTS IN ANTI-CULT VOLUNTEER CORPS*

During the inauguration ceremony yesterday 28th May, 2026, at Asaba, some other progressive decisions were made for the benefit of the outfit and these decisions were achieved based on general vote of all those present at the ceremony.
The decisions reached led to the creation and promotion as listed below:

1. Members *BOARD OF TRUSTEES* were inaugurated by *Chief Kelvin Uvieghara* the national/State President, as enshrined in the Constitution of the outfit written by *Austin Emu* the founder of the outfit and below are the list of the BOT members:

* Mr. Chukwudi Emochuo - Vice chairman
* Engr. Emmanuel Udoka - Admin
* Bar. Maxwell Ogedegbe - Legal Adviser
* Mr. Smart Chijioke - Member
* Comr. Kelly Efemena Umukoro - Member
* Comr. Samson Amonugbe (JP) - Member
* Mr. OZ Odubu - Member
* Mr. Osuya Bobo - Member
* Mr. Scott Awani - Member
* Mr. Mr Uche Nwahandi Eboma - Member
* Mr. Ibe Jonathan Onyeije - Member
* Comr. Rex Ohikhuuare - Member

2. The Executive assistant to the governor on security issues, Engr. Emmanuel Udoka, during his address, spoke about the need for a *National Secretariat* as the outfit is now growing towards expansion outside the state, and he also proposed that Chief Kelvin Uvieghara, who holds the office of the national and state president should officially take over the national secretariat as he has proven himself capable beyond reasonable doubts.
The BOT chairman responded, moving the proposal as a motion which was generally accepted by all present, and the BOT legal adviser, Bar. Maxwell Ogedegbe immediately swore in Chief Kelvin Uvieghara as the *pioneer* National President as enshrined in the Constitution written by Late Austin Emu, the founder of the outfit.

3. The national president, in turn saw the need to hand over the office of the state president as there is now much work to be done. He immediately swore in *Comr. Emma Abiror* as the new *State President* Anti-cult Volunteer Corps, Delta State. A new development was done as the office of the vice President has now been *splitted* into three to make room for representatives from each senatorial districts. The new *Vice Presidents* are:

Delta North
1st vice president
Emmanuel Nnaemeka

Delta south
2nd vice president
Peter Edo

Delta central
3rd vice president
Shadrach Oviwighoriota

They are to mediate between the state President and the zonal Commanders.

On Friday 15th May. 2026, members of the Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps, Delta State led by the State Commander Chief Kelvin Uvieghara joined the family of late Commander Liberty Duakpemi Kunu to give him a befitting burial in Koko town.
Despite the sudden and unfortunate death of Late Commander Liberty, we take solace in the impact he made during his life time as he was committed in the fight against crime.

Today, May 16th 2026, we join the world to celebrate the *International Day of the Boy Child.*

To every boy across and beyond: you are seen, you are valued, and your future matters. This day is a reminder that raising strong, responsible, and compassionate young men is the foundation of a safer and more just society.

The *Anti-Cult Volunteer Corps, Delta State*, we it's believe that protecting boys from the pull of violence, cultism, and negative peer influence starts with giving them purpose, mentorship, and the confidence to choose a better path. A boy who is heard, guided, and given opportunity grows into a man who builds, protects, and uplifts his community.

To the parents, teachers, and mentors: thank you for standing in the gap. To the boys: your dreams are valid, and the world needs what you have to offer. Say no to crime and say yes to your future.

Happy International Day of the Boy Child 2026., let's raise boys who become men of honor.
