*Today, We Reached Adolescents in Sokoto*

Today, Vital Health Outreach Initiative (VHOI) joined Sustainable Health, Inclusive Education and Leadership Development - SHIELD Nigeria and CHAFHEIN to implement the _Integrated Adolescent Health and Wellbeing Project (IAHWP): Lafiya Da Kyautata Rayuwar Matasa_ in schools across Sokoto State.

As a VHOI member, I’m proud of what we accomplished on the ground. Together, we engaged adolescents on:
1. Mental and Psychosocial Wellbeing
2. Menstrual Health & Hygiene
3. Personal Hygiene
4. Healthy Lifestyle Choices
5. Adolescent Empowerment

The goal was simple: _Healthy Adolescents, Stronger Futures_. Through interactive sessions, we promoted hygiene, mental wellbeing, and dignity β€” equipping young people with knowledge they can use daily.

SHIELD Nigeria is pleased to announce a strategic collaboration with Vital Health Outreach Initiative (VHOI) in support of the Integrated Adolescent Health and Wellbeing Project (IAHWP) – Lafiyar Matasa da Jin DaΙ—in Rayuwa.

This partnership reflects our shared commitment to promoting adolescent health, mental wellbeing, health education, and positive behavioural change among young people across schools and communities in Sokoto State.

Through this collaboration, we will work together to strengthen health awareness, promote healthy lifestyles, encourage peer learning, and empower adolescents to become positive changemakers within their communities.
