Akwa Ibom State Interreligious Council

The Executive Committee and Trustees of Akwa Ibom State Interreligious Council held a joint meeting on Tuesday, 24th March, 2026 at the Director General's Office at University of Uyo.
During the session, they brainstormed on issues affecting the council- Capacity Building Workshop, Interfaith Dialogue Seminars, Visitations, membership policy, etc.
AKIREC remains resolved to maintain and strengthen the peace in Alwa Ibom State through interfaith dialogue, peacebuilding and enhancement of cooperation and understanding among religious adherents.
