The Final Stop, One More Community, One Lasting Impact ❤️

The journey of the Maternal and Child Health 10/10 Project 2.0 continues as we arrive at the final destination of this impactful outreach, Eket Local Government Area.

Led by the Rotary Club of Uyo Metropolis, in collaboration with the Rotaract E-Club of Ibom Cosmopolitan, Rotary Club of Eket Grove, Rotary Club of Eket Groove, Rotary Club of Eket Golden and Premier Medical Services, this initiative remains committed to strengthening primary healthcare, supporting healthcare personnel, and improving maternal and child health outcomes across our communities.

Another Community Reached, Another Step Towards Healthier Lives ❤️

The Maternal and Child Health 10/10 Project 2.0 continued its journey of impact today in Mkpat Enin Local Government Area.

Our team began the day with a courtesy visit to the Executive Chairman of Mkpat Enin LGA, Hon.[Eng.] Emmanuel John Inyang, where we were warmly received before proceeding to the designated medical facility.

At the facility, essential medical equipment and support materials were presented to strengthen healthcare service delivery and support better maternal and child health outcomes within the community.

Led by the Rotary Club of Uyo Metropolis, in collaboration with the Rotaract E-Club of Ibom Cosmopolitan and Premier Medical Services, this project continues to demonstrate the power of partnership and service in creating meaningful impact across communities.
As we approach the final stop of the project, today’s visit to Mkpat Enin marks the second-to-the-last phase of this impactful journey.

Tomorrow, the Maternal and Child Health 10/10 Project 2.0 moves to Eket Local Government Area for the final phase of the project.

Impact Continues in Nsit Ubium LGA ❤️

The Maternal and Child Health 10/10 Project 2.0 continued its journey of service and impact today in Nsit Ubium Local Government Area.

Our team first paid a visit to the office of the Executive Chairman, Hon. Alfred Charles, where we were warmly received. The Chairman later joined us alongside his Vice Chairman as we proceeded to the Operational Base, Ikot Edibon, for the project activities.

At the health facility, the project team engaged with members of the community and continued its commitment to strengthening primary healthcare through the donation of essential medical equipment and support items.

This initiative, led by the Rotary Club of Uyo Metropolis in collaboration with the Rotaract E-Club of Ibom Cosmopolitan and Premier Medical Services, continues to support healthcare facilities, empower healthcare personnel, and contribute to better maternal and child health outcomes across communities.

Every community reached is another step towards healthier mothers, safer childbirth, and a brighter future for every child.

WORLD HEPATITIS DAY | LET'S NOT WAIT UNTIL IT'S TOO LATE

Hepatitis is often called a silent disease because many people live with it for years without knowing. Yet, with early testing, proper medical care, and timely treatment, countless lives can be protected.

On this World Hepatitis Day, our Club President, Rtr. Useful Akpaniko, reminds us that awareness is the first step toward prevention. Ignoring the signs or delaying medical attention can have serious consequences, but seeking professional healthcare early can make all the difference.

Let us continue to educate, encourage testing, reduce stigma, and support healthier communities.

Today, the Maternal and Child Health 10/10 Project 2.0 continued in Okobo Local Government Area.
At Okopedi Primary Health Centre, we continued our commitment to supporting maternal and child healthcare through the donation of essential medical equipment and supplies to strengthen healthcare delivery within the community.

The project also provided an opportunity to engage with members of the community and support initiatives focused on improving health outcomes for mothers, children, and vulnerable members of society.

From one Local Government Area to another, this journey continues to remind us that lasting impact is created through consistent action, meaningful partnerships, and a commitment to serving communities.

The Journey Continues in Okobo LGA♥️

The Maternal and Child Health 10/10 Project 2.0 continues its journey across Akwa Ibom State.
Tomorrow, Monday, 27th July 2026, we will be in Okobo Local Government Area, bringing the project to Okopedi Primary Health Centre.

The initiative continues to focus on strengthening maternal and child healthcare through:
🩺 Training of healthcare personnel on infant resuscitation
🏥 Training of healthcare personnel on medical equipment use
⚕️ Donation of medical equipment to designated primary healthcare centres
🤰 Medical care and vocational initiatives for pregnant teenage adolescent.

Every community has unique healthcare needs. Every mother deserves access to quality care. Every child deserves the opportunity to grow healthy.

Together, we continue to create lasting impact, one community at a time.
