🌟 UMF Second Assessment Visit to Government Primary School Ikot Essien Nsit, Nsit Atai LGA 🌟

The Ubong Mbatt Foundation (UMF) yesterday 27/11/2025 carried out its second assessment visit to Govt. Primary School Ikot EssienNsit, as part of her ongoing commitment to improving English language proficiency among pupils.

Earlier this year, UMF sponsored and deployed an English teacher to provide extra classes for the pupils, following concerns about the high use of vernacular in the school. The visit was aimed at evaluating the impact of this intervention — and the results were truly encouraging!

📚 Areas Assessed:
• Reading skills
• Spelling
• Spoken English

We are excited to report that many pupils showed remarkable improvement in confidence, pronunciation, reading fluency, and overall communication. The progress observed is a strong testament to what consistent support, quality teaching, and genuine concern for children’s education can achieve.

UMF remains committed to nurturing the academic growth of children in underserved communities, and we believe that every child deserves the opportunity to learn, speak, and dream in the language of opportunity.

🌍✨ UMF at the MWIA Congress, Egypt 2025! ✨🌍

The Founder and Secretary of the Ubong Mbatt Foundation (UMF) proudly represented the Foundation at the Medical Women’s International Association (MWIA) Congress held in Cairo, Egypt, from October 12th to 14th, 2025.

The congress, themed “One Humanity: Health Solutions Through Our Partnerships,” brought together women in medicine and health advocates from across the world to share ideas, strengthen collaborations, and build innovative solutions for better global health. 🌿💪

UMF’s presence at this global platform was aimed at gaining knowledge, expanding networks, and strengthening our commitment to serve humanity—in alignment with our mission and vision.

On Saturday, 27th September 2025, the mother-in-law of the Founder of Ubong Mbatt Foundation was laid to rest at her hometown, Ikot Essien Nsit, Nsit Atai LGA.

It was a moment of sober reflection as family, friends, and well-wishers gathered to celebrate the life of a woman who embodied love, strength, and unwavering faith.

At Ubong Mbatt Foundation, we stand firmly with our Founder and family in this period of grief, while honoring the memory and legacy she left behind.

We invite our friends and supporters to join us in praying for God’s comfort for the family.
May her gentle soul rest in peace. 🕊️

✨ In Loving Memory of Aisha ✨

Yesterday, 10th September 2025, the Ubong Mbatt Foundation (UMF) in collaboration with the University of Uyo Medical Students’ Association (UUMSA) paid a compassionate visit to stroke patients at the Ima and Iboro James Stroke Centre, UUTH.

This outreach was held in honor of their dearly departed colleague Aisha, whose light and impact continue to inspire acts of kindness. 💙

Gift items were shared with the in-patients, and heartfelt prayers were lifted for their speedy recovery and strength for their families. 🙏

At UMF, we believe in keeping good legacy alive through service, compassion, and love.

🌿 UMF Mini Medical Outreach in Honor of Aisha 🌿

In collaboration with Haymill Specialist & Diagnostic Centre and the Medical Students of University of Uyo Teaching Hospital (UUTH), the Ubong Mbatt Foundation (UMF) held a mini medical outreach in honor of the late medical student Aisha. 💐

The outreach took place at UUTH, where the team extended love and care to patients at the pediatric ward. Beyond medical support, we shared gift items to the in-patients, bringing smiles and encouragement to both the children and their families. 💖

This outreach reminds us of the power of compassion, teamwork, and service, values Aisha stood for. Her memory continues to inspire us to impact lives positively.

🎁💖 Turning hospital bed into smiles💖🎁

In 2021, the Ubong Mbatt Foundation (UMF) brought smiles, hope, and heartfelt joy to the little warriors in the Pediatric Ward of St. Luke Hospital, Anua.

Led by our compassionate founder, Dr. Ekaete Mbatt, the UMF team visited the ward with love in action — delivering carefully selected gift items to the in-patients, reminding them that they are never alone in their fight for health.

The day was filled with smiles, laughter, and warm connections as children and their caregivers felt the genuine care that is at the heart of our mission. For UMF, every visit is more than charity — it is about restoring hope, lifting spirits, and spreading kindness in our community.
