AKWA IBOM CLERGY FORUM (AICLEF) WORLDWIDE.
ABOUT US:
Akwa Ibom Clergy Forum, with "AICLEF" as its acronym is an indigenous organization which accommodates only Ministers of the Gospel as members.
Foundation:
It was established in 2001 in Lagos State by collective minds who saw the need to have a platform for Ministers, ranging from Apostle, Prophet, Evangelist, Pastor, Deacon, Elder, Archbishop and Bishop from Akwa Ibom State.
Geographical Spread:
It has branches in Lagos (6 LGAs), Ogun, Canada, UK and Akwa Ibom State, with chapters in Itu, Ikono and Ikot Ekpene.
The Akwa Ibom State Chapter which has its State Secretariat at The Splendour Of God's Mission Int'l, 33 Peter Ubo Street, Off Oron Road, Uyo, was officially inaugurated on 22nd March, 2025.
What We Stand For:
It is an ecumenical body of Jesus Christ which seems to project and uphold the following:
1. Propagate the Gospel of our Lord Jesus Christ the way it was handed to us without deviating or being heretic.
2. Practice the tenets of Jesus Christ who is our role model in our homes, ministries, communities, workplaces, etc.
3. Promote love, unity and peaceful coexistence among members and member churches
4. Organise Special Prayers, Counseling, Advise, etc for ourselves as Ministers since we spend more of our time for members, partners, etc
5. Exchange of Pulpit
6. Support members and member churches during their programmes, events, etc
7. Organise Spiritual, Economic, Educational programmes that are intellectually beneficial to Members and their churches
8. Organise Ministerial Trainings through Seminars, Summits, Workshops for development of members and their churches
9. Promote Kingdom Projects, Businesses and Concerns that will be financially beneficial to Members and their churches
AICLEF is a Non-governmental and Non-political organisation but we are prepared to work with the government, organization, or any individual who finds us relevant in their scheme, especially if it promotes God's Kingdom.
* Membership:
This is limited to only Ministers from Akwa Ibom State, male and female.
* Registration:
Each member is to register with the sum of N4,000 and a Monthly Dues of N500.
* Registered members are to belong to chapters within their LGA of residence
LG Chapter Formation:
A minister either indicates interest, or is recommended by a member as interim Coordinator.
The Coordinator is mandated to gather not less than Twenty (20) new members and get them to register before the Chapter is approved for formation
Names of members are sent to the National Secretariat in Lagos.
Meetings:
Our monthly meetings hold as follows:
* Executive Council: First (1) Friday of every month
* General Assembly: Second Friday of every month
* Time: 10:00am to Midday
* Emergency meetings are held as deemed necessary
