₦200,000 BUSINESS GRANT FOR 4 WOMEN!

nlem foundation have decided to make this soap-making empowerment bigger than just a training.

We are looking for 4 women who will stand out as the best students throughout the training.

At the end of the free soap-making class, 4 outstanding women will each receive ₦200,000 business grants to help them start or grow their businesses.

That is:

4 WOMEN × ₦50,000 = ₦200,000 BUSINESS GRANTS

And yes, you can be one of them.

You don’t need to already own a business. You don’t need to have experience making soap.

You simply need to be willing to learn, participate, complete the training and take the opportunity seriously.

How Can Teenagers Become Better?

Teenagers can become better in their endeavors by focusing on personal development, setting goals, and cultivating positive habits.

There are some tips for teenagers to improve in their endeavors but we shall be looking at one today

1. Set Clear Goals

📌 Define specific, achievable goals in areas such as academics, extracurricular activities, or personal interests.

📌 Break down larger goals into smaller, manageable steps to track progress and stay motivated

Emotional intelligence (EI) is the ability to recognize, understand and manage one's own emotions, as well as the emotions of others.

It is the ability for you as a lady to put yourself in people's shoes before acting in a certain way towards them.

It is important you learn to be emotionally intelligent as a girl for several reasons:

1. Improved Relationships: Emotional intelligence can improve relationships with others by helping you understand and respond to the emotions of others. This can lead to better communication, increased trust, and more positive interactions.

2. Better Decision-Making: Emotions can influence decision-making, and those who are emotionally intelligent are better able to recognize and regulate their emotions, leading to more rational and informed decision-making. When you are not emotionally intelligent, you make impulse decisions, some of which are to your detriment in the long run.

3. Increased Self-Awareness: Emotional intelligence allows you to better understand your emotions and how they are influenced by them. This can help you to better manage stress, communicate effectively, and improve your overall well-being.

4. Leadership Skills: Effective leadership requires strong emotional intelligence. Emotionally Intelligent leaders are better able to inspire and motivate their team members, communicate effectively, and manage conflicts. As a lady, you may never escape leadership positions for long. In one way or another, it will meet you. Your ability to be emotionally intelligent determines your success as a leader.

5. Career Success: Emotional intelligence is increasingly recognized as an important factor in career success. It is a valuable skill for anyone working in a team environment or pursuing a career. You cannot get to the peak of your career without people. Your ability to deal with people intelligently will determine your career success.

Overall, emotional intelligence plays an important role in our personal and professional lives by improving relationships, decision-making, self-awareness, leadership skills, and career success.

There are several reasons why it is important to be faithful to a course. Firstly, having a clear goal or objective can provide direction and purpose in life. When we have something that we are working towards, it gives us a sense of motivation and meaning, and helps us to prioritize our time and efforts and not live life in confusion

Secondly, being faithful to a course requires discipline and perseverance, which are important qualities to develop in order to achieve success in any area of life. 𝗜'𝗹𝗹 𝗲𝘅𝗽𝗹𝗮𝗶𝗻 𝘁𝗼𝗱𝗮𝘆'𝘀 𝗴𝗶𝗿𝗹 𝗰𝗼𝗱𝗲 𝘄𝗶𝘁𝗵 𝗮 𝘀𝘁𝗼𝗿𝘆

There was a lady named Lily who lacked respect for others.

She was a wealthy and successful businesswoman who always put herself first and treated others as if they were beneath her.

She would belittle her employees, speak rudely to her colleagues, and even ignore her own family members.

Despite her rude and disrespectful behaviour, Lily managed to climb the corporate ladder and became the CEO of her company.

However, her lack of respect towards others began to catch up with her. Her employees started to resent her and her colleagues would avoid working with her. Her family members would only reach out to her when they needed something.

One day, Lily had an important meeting with a potential client. As she walked into the room, she was surprised to see that the client was an old friend from college. However, instead of being happy to see her friend, Lily immediately began to talk down to her and act as if she was superior. The friend was taken aback and offended by Lily's behaviour and ultimately decided not to do business with her. This cost her company millions of Naira

This incident made Lily realize that her lack of respect towards others had not only hurt those around her but had also hurt her own career and personal relationships. That was when it dawned on her that she lacked a very important virtue; respect.

She began to make changes and started treating others with more kindness and respect. Over time, she earned back the trust and respect of her colleagues and family members, and her business thrived as a result.

From then on, Susan became known not only for her business success, but also for her kindness and respect towards others. She learned that respect is a valuable trait that should be given to all, regardless of their status or position in life.

If you size people first before you respect them, that's not respect, it's hypocrisy.

Everyone deserves to be respected regardless. Don't be a rude lady. Speak with caution and love at all times. If ever you feel disrespected by a person, instead of talking back rudely, just take a walk away. It shows maturity and you'll be respected in turn for that.

𝐖𝐡𝐚𝐭 𝐝𝐨𝐞𝐬 𝐈𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐦𝐞𝐚𝐧?

The English Dictionary defines Integrity as a Steadfast adherence to a strict moral or ethical code.
I define integrity as the quality of being unapologetically honest.

As a girl, one of the fastest ways to keep people far from you; especially quality relationships is to lack integrity. You'll find that nobody wants to get into any business with you.

No amount of pressure should make you lie. You lie about your background, lie about your academic qualifications, lie about your health status and all manner of lies all because you are trying to impress people. You won't enjoy your life that way.

Dear girl, 𝐢𝐧𝐭𝐞𝐠𝐫𝐢𝐭𝐲 𝐢𝐬 𝐚 𝐟𝐫𝐚𝐠𝐫𝐚𝐧𝐜𝐞 𝐞𝐯𝐞𝐫𝐲 𝐋𝐚𝐝𝐲 𝐦𝐮𝐬𝐭 𝐰𝐞𝐚𝐫. It might take time for you to get the accolades for it but it will definitely come and you'll be greatly honoured when it does. All you have to do is to be patient.

📌 Say the truth at all times

📌 Return anything that is in your possession that is not yours even if the owner does not know it is in your custody

📌 When you're trusted with funds, don't keep some for yourself if you are not asked to.

📌 When you run errands for someone, return the change. Don't assume the person does not need it; especially if it's a top personality you are dealing with. They might not ask you for the balance but they are watching you and can cut your access to them

Be sincere to yourself. Be sincere to the people you work for
Be sincere to the people you work with.

have you ever heard of the word "𝗘𝗺𝗽𝗮𝘁𝗵𝘆" and wondered what it meant?

Today's value code you need to have as a lady is empathy so read till the end to find out what this means and how to apply it.

Empathy is an essential skill that allows us to connect with others, understand their emotions, and respond appropriately.

As a girl, developing empathy can be especially important, as societal expectations may encourage us to prioritize our own needs and emotions over those of others.

However, by cultivating empathy, we can become more attuned to the feelings of those around us, build stronger relationships, and make a positive impact on the world. Here are some ways that girls can develop empathy:

1. 𝑷𝒓𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒄𝒆 𝒂𝒄𝒕𝒊𝒗𝒆 𝒍𝒊𝒔𝒕𝒆𝒏𝒊𝒏𝒈:
When someone is speaking to you, make an effort to really listen and understand what they are saying. Pay attention to their tone, body language, and emotions to gain a deeper understanding of their perspective. Don't be quick to respond when you haven't listened enough.

Especially in responding to strangers. It's Lady-like to always give a smile. It could mean so much to take the recipient.

Try to expose yourself to different viewpoints and experiences. This can help you to better understand and empathize with people from diverse backgrounds. People's background has a way of influencing their thought pattern. When you understand this you argue less with people. Just open yourself to learning and understanding different backgrounds and their point of view of a thing.
