AKWA ESOP IMAISONG IBIBIO PRESENTS "IBIBIO YOUTH SUBMIT 2022"
.. as Ntisong Ibibio iv (Ntisong Pius J. Okon) unveils 2022 Ibibio youth submit.
Akwa Esop Imaisong Ibibio (AEII) is the foremost socio - cultural, non political, non - governmental organization that is in pursuit of the unity of Ibibios created in the 80s whose facilitate the creation of Akwa Ibom State.
It is generally accepted as the dynamics and indices that characterizes humanity; that where there is no unity there can be no meaningful development, peace or progress.
Youths have played an integral role in today's era. Thus it was pertinent to be driven with a great plans to ensure the wellbeing of the Ibibio youths coming together, fostering the spirit of unity and bonds of brotherliness amongst each other as sole aim of achieving unity in the land thus to fast track all facets of growth and progress in the land.
In this same familiarity, this will amidst their attempts, were most Ibibio youths seems divided along political, ethnic and doctrinal borderline thus create imaginary enmities which in turn has slowed down the wheels of unity and progress of our land.
As one of the core value of Esop is to promote love and unity among Ibibio people worldwide.
This also seek to bring greater peace and unity amongst youth to be self-reliant, productive and respectable citizens in society.
However, Akwa ESOP took into a wise cognizant in various meetings, stating that the sole aim of Esop is to foster unity and peace amongst every Ibibio sons and daughters, urged to unveiling the event tagged: IBIBIO YOUTH SUBMIT 2022 with the theme: "Come Let's Reason Together".
The Submit was approved and unveiled by Akwa Esop Council of Elders under the distinguished leadership of Ntisong Ibibio iv, Ntisong Pius J Okon, on the 31st of July, 2022, at Diamond Hotel, Ibesikpo Austan LG, Akwa Ibom State.
In his advisory remarks, Ntisong Ibibio iv states that, Ibibio Youth Submit 2022 is to educate our youths on our traditional values, native laws and customs, to inculcate in them the spirit of leadership, entrepreneurship and respect for constituted authorities in confined of the law and traditions of Ibibio land; working for the advancement of Ibibio culture, tradition and identity.
The Chairman, Central Planning Committee, Atauko Deacon Ekemini Etukho, onbehalf of his committee members, commend and appreciated the efforts of the Akwa Esop Imaisong Ibibio under the superfluous leadership of Ntisong Pius J Okon, Ntisong Ibibio iv. And then invites all the Ibibio Youths across the villages in the 18 local governments. The chairman Stated in his acceptance speech that the IBIBIO YOUTH SUBMIT 2022 is organized alongside all the village youth presidents across the 18 local government areas of Ibibio nations is to foster peace and harmony amongst Ibibio youths as to collaborate with every well-meaning Ibibio youths who shares in the larger picture of a greater and united Ibibio nation for prosperity and progress of our land.
He posited on the theme, tagged "Come Let's Reason Together", is to educate the entire Ibibio youths on their fundamental human rights and advocate for fair play and justice.
Also encourages the participation to humanitarian and communal services. To identify special talents in Ibibio youths with a view to developing such talents through scholarship and apprenticeship
Promote and research into the study and publish all aspects of the history, culture, economic, social life and Ibibio language oral and written across all the 18 local government areas that made up Ibibio.
In that, it will also strengthen the youths for a life of unimpeachable integrity, industrious and a healthy feeling of fraternity and patriotism for prosperity and statewide development.
The summit which also seeks to rekindle the Ibibio unity and self pride, address disunity and biases is designed to educate, challenge and encourage Ibibio youths to indulge in innovative approaches towards unmatched performance and productivity aimed at ensuring sense of purpose, responsibility and commitment to the state unity project, which will breakdown boundaries of mediocrity and promote excellence among Her people.
The submit is slated to hold on October 2022, at Asan Ibibio, Akwa Ibom State.
