​On this special occasion, I extend my warmest and most profound birthday wishes to a true statesman, a distinguished leader, and my revered political mentor, Senator Bassey Albert Akpan (OBA).

​Sir, your life has been a beacon of dedication to public service, marked by an unwavering commitment to the welfare and development of our people. From your impactful tenure in the Senate to your years of astute financial leadership, you have continually demonstrated courage, clarity of vision, and a deep understanding of governance. Your contributions resonate deeply within the political landscape and the lives of those you serve.

Coalition of Akwa Ibom State Youth and Students Union Mourns the Passing of Elder Statesman, Pa Edwin Clark

The Coalition of Akwa Ibom State Youth and Students Union (CASYSU) expresses its heartfelt condolences on the passing of Chief Edwin Clark, an esteemed elder statesman, prominent Niger Delta leader, and respected voice of the Ijaw nationality.

Pa Clark's unwavering dedication to the development of the Niger Delta region and his tireless advocacy for the rights of its people have left an indelible mark on the nation.
His wisdom, courage, and commitment to justice will be deeply missed.

On behalf of the Coalition of Akwa Ibom State Youth and Students Union, we express our deepest condolences on the passing of Pa Edwin Clark, an esteemed elder statesman of the Niger Delta region and a prominent voice of the Ijaw nationality as his contributions to the development of the region and his advocacy for the rights of its people will be long remembered.

We share in the grief of his family, the Ijaw people, and the entire Niger Delta region, and pray that they find strength and solace during this difficult time. May his soul rest in perfect peace.
