🌍 WORLD MALARIA DAY 2025
Today, on World Malaria Day, we at ImaBridge Africa pause to remember every Nigerian life lost to a disease that is entirely preventable, and we recommit ourselves to making those losses a thing of the past.
For over a decade, ImaBridge Africa has stood on the frontlines of healthcare in Nigeria. Through our annual medical missions, community health outreach programmes, and sustained advocacy, we have brought malaria prevention, diagnosis, and treatment directly to thousands of underserved Nigerians who would otherwise go without care.
Malaria remains one of Nigeria's most urgent public health challenges. Nigeria accounts for approximately 27% of malaria cases globally, a statistic we refuse to accept as inevitable. Every bed net distributed, every rapid diagnostic test conducted, every patient treated is a step toward a Nigeria free from the burden of this disease.
This year's theme reminds us that the path to elimination is paved with collective action. ImaBridge Africa is proud to walk that path, alongside our volunteers, partners, donors, and the communities we serve.
To every community health worker, every volunteer, and every supporter who has stood with us, thank you. Your dedication is the bridge between suffering and healing.
The work continues. The mission endures. A malaria-free Nigeria is possible, and together, we will build it.
