UTUTU IS IGBO PEOPLE
Some people will say that what is good for Abam_Onyerubi is also good for Ututu-Ezema. Meaning Ututu and Abam is traditionally one body according to our forebears.
What is good for the people of Etiti Abam ward should be good for ELEOHA UTUTU. Ward. So Ututu Community, I therefore challenge everyone that by the same token.
What is given to the People. As their representative, you should try to do something with it instead of the reverse.
We need to say Ututu is my place, Ours is the Federal Republic of Nigeria. The Chief aim of a good representation is to protect the liberty, the dignity and the security of its entire people, And to elevate the moral and intellectual qualities of the people from one or more groups in a stronger political, economic or social position. Resentment to such disability, the resultant desire for justice and equity, and consequent struggle to have politically manifested wrongs righted is not a bad Omen. Rather, it is a cry or struggle for the human dignity of People who form an ethnic group like Ututu. It belongs to the category of contention or struggle for human rights. Freedom from oppression, exploitation, or other injustice in Ututu Community. Information from grapevine reveals recently, the Gov. Ikpeazu led government of Abia State ridded out the sum of Ten Million Naira (10,000) per ward per project (ONE WARD-ONE PROJECT) to the whole wards in Abia State, now, one good thing that attracts your dear one to the Abam Onyerubi is that historically, Ututu and Abam are of the same lineage.
If the pictures attached is what the councilor representing Etiti – Abam ward is doing with the fund for the said one ward, One project by Hon.Ironma Godswill. Where is the place of Ututu, when the Deputy Chairman and three other councilors come from the community “ELEE-WAY”?
Whereas, hunger and starvation are staring on the people’s faces in Ututu, precisely, where the current Chairman and one other councilor hails.”Eleoha Ututu”.

They are working to build a community, a local government of equal opportunity and justice not just for Nde-Ututu but for everyone who calls Nigeria home. They look up to a community where their resourcefulness is unhindered, where their safety like that of Etiti-Abam in the same Arochukwu Local Government where their illustrious son is the Council Chairman while an Ututu man is the deputy.
One of the dividends of democracy, which Ututu Community have reaped since the transfer of power by the last regime is the rising spate of corruption, short handedness, and non-challance with devastating consequences on lives and property. Often, Ututu Community is oppressed, exploited, marginalized, or discriminated against by leaders.

A STRONG WILL TO CHANGE THE NARRATIVE OF AROCHUKWU/OHAFIA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY.

One generation passed and another generation comes, time and chance happeneth to them all, according to Ecclesiastes. Tis nature's law to change, constancy alone is strange according to John Wilmont, for as long as there has been human on this planet there have been changes in all spheres. And for that long, humans has tried to understand the changes they saw, love and birth, harvest and flood tide, eclipse and Earth quake. The changes the people saw about them might have been too difficult or awful and bewildering to comprehend. But as far as we know, every age has wrestled with the problem of change in order that life might have some meaning, some sense of direction and purpose that is presently lacking in the federal constituency of Arochukwu/Ohafia. However nuclear that direction might be which Chief Dr. Dan Chimezie Okeke is coming out with humility to give to the people of Arochukwu Ohafia federal constituency under the umbrella of the All Progressive Congress (APC). The man Okeke has the masses interest as a priority; he set a pace from others with an edge. In addition to the problem of change, the historical record suggest that human beings have for centuries been confronted by the persistent tension between one and many, between individual search for his own autonomy and his involvement in an environment that might deprived him of his sense of uniqueness. The age long question is "AM I MY BROTHER’S KEEPER" seems forever to recur. And to this question, the human has had to find and must find today some answer. In the dawn of a new and strong will to change the narrative of development and welfare for Arochukwu Ohafia federal constituency for better, I have to share my experience about one way of understanding the world and Man’s place within. CHIEF DR. DAN CHIMEZIE OKEKE, OMEREOHA UTUTU, certainly is not the only man for the race to the green Chambers of national Assembly, he may not even be the most influential, but massively the good people of the constituency including my humble self are convinced that the quality in him, coupled with his social and philanthropic approach for the much awaited relieve to the progressive, financial and securities to be in the constituency in a less confusing fashion and to see hope where there might otherwise been discouragement.
Furthermore, I will say to heed his people’s yearning for him to offer himself to serve them at the national Assembly, House of Representatives precisely is like a round peg in a round hole. OKEKE's wealth of experience as a manager of human staff and resources, his network of friends and associates across the globe, his administrative sway and antecedent Mark him out as one aspirant that look good to clinch the seat in the coming general election of 2023. THE REPRESENTATIVE FOR ARO/OHAFIA FEDERAL CONSTITUENCY
Presently and importantly too, the argument that the choice of who will become the member to represent the constituents of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency in 2023 is of strategic importance to the future of the constituents ,is in order.
The consideration becomes more compelling as the elections of 2023 draw near and the clamour for a member in the green chambers for the people of Aro/Ohafia gains traction among fair-minded constituents. As it is, apart from the ultra conservative few that insist on the old ways. There is near unanimity among the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency on the need for the people to produce their next representative in the Federal house, who will be acceptable by the people themselves. A man of intelligence and God fearing. The matter is a mantra of sorts.
It is particularly heartwarming that the clamour is resonating among many people and groups across the constituency.
The people including my good self have stressed forcefully, that on the basis of equity, justice and fairness. The political class in the constituency should vote in a candidate from Ututu Kingdom as a way of giving the people of the area sense of belonging.
First and second Republic politicians have made similar remarks. These are voices that cannot be ignored or dismissed with a wave of hand. It is worthy of note that they were credible representatives of their people. The Latin expression, Fox Populi, Vox del (The voice of the people is the voice of God) makes meaning here.
Overtime, Ututu Kingdom has offered itself as the wheel of Electoral victories, economic, commercial and inter-communal relation revolves. It has paid its dues and deserves fair treatment in its quest for their own to become the next member to represent the good people of Arochukwu/Ohafia in the Federal House of Representatives. Doing so will guarantee equity and Justice as well promote political inclusion.
The clamour is not just on the basis of equity and fairness. There are also historical and empirical imperatives. Some of the clans that build up the constituency have had shots at the National Assembly precisely the green Chambers since 1999. Where is the place of Ututu?
They are the only community in the whole of Arochukwu/Ohafia Federal Constituency that can boast of a sizeable presence in the townships or communities of Aro/Ohafia Federal Constituency operating businesses, building mansions, going to school and above all contributing to the socio economic development of their host communities.
Prince Miracle Ekpe Kalu, was therefore right that the opportunity for an Ututu Son will give the people of the community a feeling of acceptance and recognition of contributions to the constituency and a sense of dignity. If we fail to do so come 2023. It will remain a blot on our political consciousness. Hence the ideal of the moral universe and justice implores that A.P.C, P.D.P, A.P.G.A, and others to do the needful.
Beautiful enough, aspirants from the constituency have exhibited maturity in going about the elections proper. I applaud them for so doing.
Aspirant, like Chief (Dr.) Daniel Chimezie Okeke. (D.C.O) a benevolent candidate, entrepreneur-per excellence who has recorded great feats in infrastructural development of the communities of the constituency. The people are earnestly clamouring for him as their next Representative in the federal house come 2023. As a candidate that will make his people proud again. If merit is the yardstick for the office, Mezie-Abia has it in quantum.

ABIA ENDLESS QUEST FOR A LEADER
In Abia State, Southeast Nigeria, it has become so traditional and familiar that every other three of four years, Abians will go all out in search of a near leader with vision and humanness, the old or outgoing leaders and chosen, even the foisted one having failed them woefully or performed so creditably well. According to only his supporters, and praise singers.
We have seen this endless cycle of events or going and coming in the states electoral journey. Nothing again excites some people about our election and their predictable outcomes. There is no concerning proof that 2023 elections will be radically different from preceding ones if our attitudes remains unchanged.
There are some Abians, patriotic and unpatriotic additional and ethnic, religious bigots and free thinkers, whose contribution to our electioneering is putting forward the qualities of new brand leaders that would save Abians from legendry misrule and abuse of power and cluelessness associated with political leadership in the state.
In 2015, then Abians experienced yet another unusual political high drama of qualities of the new savior that will occupy the seat of power. Despite our usual list of good qualities our new leader must have the Handlers of our present leader sold him to Abians as a great patriot and a born again, he was likened to Mark Angello, the great street sweeper, whom everyone that passes will remember him as a great street sweeper. The leader did very well while overseeing- The states Environmental Agency (A.S.E.P.A).
As we steadily approach 2023 election season to usher in new leaders we are still being inundated with fresh list of distinguished sons and daughters with great qualities the savior will have .although they are rehash of the previous qualities listed by our compatriots or the same people with varying inflections and major key. They remain new rituals of our election season. But tomorrow is unknown.
They have become meaningless to the people and even those who want to be the new leaders. We are at crossroads in our polity where self-acclaimed Kingmakers now want to be Kings and only one king or savior will rule the state at a time Basically, nothing is wrong with listing the qualities of the new leaders. After all the leader is going to be the leader of all of us. The paradox of the Abia State Jinxed political atmosphere is that those who put all of us in the hole we are in today are the same people parading the polity and media houses with their expected qualities of our new leadership we are talking about ÖGANIHU ABIA
There is nothing I will say here on black and white that is new or had not been said before by different people. Our challenges as an institution are not as intractable as they seem. They are not beyond redemption and not even beyond the capacities of our leaders to resolve .if only they will listen and take reasonable advice.
Organized crude governance by not too gentle leaders holding the state hostage, and the leadership, must be tackled frontally and holistically to the letters. The leadership must find courage to liberate itself, the labour force, even if it involves fumigating the termites that have almost grounded the system.
They are in every sector of the state’s Civil Service perpetuating Corruption. They are in the oil Sector, maximizing oil subsidy. You can also find them creating all manner of insecurity and security vote fraud, the Tax fraud is not exclusive, with the same people.
In the pension office they are there pilfering pension funds. They are in the education extorting students and conducting s*x for (mark) grades. These people are in the Civil Services collecting Salaries for doing nothing. But awarding contracts to their cronies and oftentimes to themselves.
Importantly, the people have every need to rise above board to resist these crude governance in the state of Abia by a group of unrepentant beaurecrats.

UTUTU –EZEMA AND MGBA UTUTU
The Ancient Ututu Ezenama Kigndom in their strict adherence to their cultural values as the law of the land dictates to the observance of these festivals.
Having had the famous “IZU” war dance, that marks the end of planting of yam (The chief crop) the people spend most of their lives in the farm, these festivals come up to serve the purpose of recreation and release of tension after hard works in the farm.
Then comes the “MGBA” , this traditional wrestling matches or competition are conducted by various villages that make up Ututu- Ezenama on every Afor days to compete with other villages as show of manliness.
This is an arena for strong young men to exhibit their physical prowess attire which the victor will be provided with awards.
After this traditional wrestling match comes “USEE”
