Mama Ngozi is 74 years old. She lives alone in a rural community in Cross River State. No pension. No children nearby. No food.

This is the reality for thousands of elderly women across Nigeria, invisible, forgotten, hungry.
But not on our watch.

In December 2019, Mariecare Initiative walked into Ugep, Yakurr LGA, and we brought food, dignity, and smiles.
Because every elder deserves to eat. Every elder deserves to be seen. 💙🧡
