“I killed Bello, my friend, because he sent me three million naira to help him secure a job at the Federal Inland Revenue Service, where I work.
“We were former colleagues at Kaduna Electricity Company from 2017 to 2024 before I resigned.
“He asked me how I got the job, and I told him I bought it. He then sent me three million naira, and on Sunday, I called him to meet me at Muhibba Filling Station to collect his job offer letter.
“I had already stationed some boys outside. When he arrived, we locked the door and tried to tie him up. During the struggle, my hand entered his mouth and he bit off one of my fingers.
“One of the boys brought out a pestle and hit his legs, making him weak. We tied his hands and legs and also hit him twice on the head.
“The two boys later brought his car. I opened the gate for them, and we put him in the boot. I then drove the car to a garage close to Bristol Palace Hotel.
“I blame the devil for this.”
