ECCI, is Non-Governmental organization that was inspired by the Bible passage of John 14:18 to cater to the mental, physical, psychology and spiritual needs of the less privileged among us.

Evolve Care for Children Initiative (ECCI) has spent the last four years putting smiles on the faces of vulnerable families. So far, 149 widows and families in need have received our annual end-of-year food support, a gesture that has brought hope, dignity, and relief during the festive season.

This year, we want to do even more.
Our goal is to reach 70 additional families, ensuring they too enjoy a meaningful and joyful Christmas celebration.

But we cannot do this alone.

Each year, since the inception of our school scholarship initiative, we’ve created a safe and open forum where stories are shared, experiences exchanged, and progress reviewed.

This annual gathering brings together our scholars and their parents for honest conversations about their academic journeys; the triumphs, the hurdles, and the lessons learned along the way.

It’s more than a meeting; it’s a moment of connection; a time to celebrate wins, understand struggles, and collectively find practical solutions that support sustained academic growth.

We remain grateful for the privilege of walking this path with our children and their families, and as we prepare for a new academic season, we’re even more committed to shaping brighter futures through education.

Children’s Day Reflection: Education Is a Right, Not a Privilege

As we celebrate another Children’s Day, we are reminded of the many challenges children across Nigeria still face — from limited access to quality education to the silent epidemic of educational inequality.

At Evolve Care for Children Initiative (ECCI), we stand with well-meaning Nigerians to call for a complete overhaul of our education system — one that ensures every child, regardless of background, has free and quality education as a fundamental right, not a privilege.

Today is International Day of the Boy Child.

At Evolve Care 4 Children Initiative (ECCI), we believe every boy deserves more than just access to education, he deserves to be heard, understood, and supported.

When was the last time you asked a boy how he’s really doing?

Too many boys are taught to stay silent about their struggles. But silence shouldn't be a survival strategy.

This year, let’s raise boys who grow up emotionally healthy, confident, and connected, not boys who have to heal from years of silence.

Join us in creating safe spaces for boys in Nigerian secondary schools to learn, express themselves, emotionall, academically and emotionally.

On April 12th, we join the world in marking International Day for Street Children—a moment to honour the strength, courage, and resilience of millions of children surviving on the streets across the globe.
