Today Sensitization@ Ibeku High School we spoke on the topic: Understanding personal safety and consent.
As a CDS one of our goal is to ensure that the younger generation know their boundaries, saying No confidently without fear of who is asking and respecting each other bodies. Sub-topics where given and our Spekers delivered their message well.

SECOND SENSITIZATION FOR THE MONTH WAS AT *FEDERAL MEDICAL CENTER (FMC)*

TOPIC: EMOTIONAL AND MENTAL SUPPORT FOR PREGNANT WOMEN.

Managing stress
Staying positive
Family support after giving birth (postpartum)
Importance of medication adherence After giving birth
Hormonal changes and mood swings in Nursing Mothers

We also gave out the little token we have to the mothers and it was a thing of Joy seeing the smiles on their faces. In Charity and Gender our major aim is putting smiles on people faces and sensitizing them and we are glad we could achieve this ❤️

Sensitization ORIE UGBA MARKET UMUAHIA
As part of the CDS goals we went to educate the traders on Gender base violence, how to protect yourself, help one another and know Risky situations and how to protect yourself from it.

It was an interesting experience as the traders gave us listening ears and showed appreciation❤️

As part of our CDS Goals last week we went for sensitization/Charity visit to the prison and we talked about mental health and well-being, and it was truly an impactful session. Our speakers delivered insightful talks that educated the inmates on life after prison, coping with stigma after release, building a positive mindset despite challenges, and the importance of anger management and emotional control.
The session created a safe space for reflection, learning, and encouragement. It reinforced the message that rehabilitation goes beyond confinement — it includes mental strength, hope, and preparation for a better future.
Our CDS remains committed to supporting positive transformation and promoting awareness that empowers individuals to reintegrate into society with confidence and purpose.
