- *Graduation Ceremonies Allowed Only for Terminal Classes*: Graduation ceremonies will only be permitted for pupils completing Primary 6 and SS3, effective immediately. This decision applies to both public and private schools in Abia State.

- *Ban on Nursery School Graduation Ceremonies*: Nursery schools are no longer allowed to hold graduation ceremonies, as they are deemed unnecessary and impose avoidable financial burdens on parents.

- *Separation of Textbooks from Workbooks*: The government has directed publishers to separate textbooks from workbooks, allowing younger siblings to reuse textbooks already used by their senior ones, while workbooks remain unique to each child.

- *Certificate Collection and Fees*: Parents are encouraged to collect their children's basic education certificates, as many schools had complained that First School Leaving certificates were often abandoned. The shutdown of fuel stations across major cities in Nigeria can be attributed to several factors:

- *Price Volatility*: The unpredictable fluctuations in petrol prices, particularly those set by the Dangote Refinery, have made it challenging for independent marketers to maintain stable operations. Prices have changed multiple times since January 2025, resulting in significant losses for marketers.

- *Financial Losses*: Marketers are incurring huge losses due to price drops during prolonged delivery times, with losses ranging from N300,000 to over N1 million per truck.

- *Lack of Access to Financing*: Many marketers struggle to access commercial loans, crippling their ability to stock or restock products.

- *Deregulation and Competition*: The removal of fuel subsidies and deregulation of the downstream sector have sparked intense competition, leaving smaller operators vulnerable to market instability.

- *Logistical Challenges*: Transporters are reluctant to carry petrol due to rising diesel costs, reducing their profit margins to unsustainable levels.

- *Industrial Action*: In some cases, the shutdown is a result of industrial actions by unions like NUPENG, protesting issues such as worker safety and job security.

From the BoT members, the entire relentless executive team, philanthropic supporters, the general ARCAI family and other distant associates of this group (Abia Radiant Citizens Assembly International), through the office of the President General, we say a very huge THANKS & CONGRATULATIONS for the patience, faith and spirit of hoping for a better tomorrow exercised both here within the group and even with our ailing nation, Nigeria. We are positively trusting a better tomorrow in a peaceful and progressive nation.

Every new year comes with renewed hopes for many of us but what we fail to recognize is that these lofty and fabulous expectations in the new year, should come with some levels of sacrifices, dedication, discipline, focus, determination, perseverance and or simply put.... RESPONSIBILITY; thus, this year isn't going to be any different if each of us reading this message from anywhere in the world, fails to embrace this very necessary coat of essential steps or responsibilities to improve our respective lives, family, career, business, handiworks, trade and the society near us.

Thence, the leadership of this group, apart from a few other already introduced modules like the recently concluded food stock cooperative exercise, shall be introducing other beneficial investment modules to members for human resource/capacity improvement as part of the group's statutory "purpose/objective".

We encourage everyone to be law-abiding citizens, stay healthy, acquire more knowledge, invest for personal growth and family's security today.... looking into the future.

Abia Radiant Citizens Assembly International (ARCAI) is open to embrace or accept membership of all dignified Abia professionals/career, skilled or industrious individuals resident in any part of the world, irrespective of one's political party affiliation(s) / opinion, religion, disability, marital status, creed, gender but with a progressive mindset of developing both the human capital and social infrastructure for Abians / Abia State in particular.

The ARCAI welfare benefits shall as well be strengthened and made mandatory for all members.....as all beneficiaries must be contributors and likewise, all contributors entitled to equal benefits; thus activating our Constitution into actions.

Also note that ARCAI presence through physical meetings of different branches/districts across Nigeria especially, shall be activated soonest, with coordinators empowered to establish rigidly these district arms of the group to further attract the right numbers, trust and commitment we desire to grow this group.
