*Breaking New Ground in Nigerian Agriculture with Franklin Junior Foundation (FJF) USA*
We’re proud to share a milestone: Franklin Junior Foundation USA just participated in *Nigeria’s first professional grape farming training* in Kaduna State.
Partnering with *RAYFAB ACADEMY*, our team—led by *David Ofogba* and *Ifunanya Promise Ogbonna*—joined pioneers at the Nigerian Institute of Transport Technology (NITT), Zaria, to learn critical skills:
*Vineyard setup* and site selection
*Grape varieties* suited for Nigeria’s climate
*Pest control*, disease management, and sustainable canopy techniques.
*Why this matters to FJF?*
As a nonprofit focused on ending poverty through community empowerment, we see agriculture as a catalyst for change. These vineyards will do more than grow grapes—they’ll create jobs, equip farmers, and ultimately *strengthen Nigeria’s economy* through local production.
