In a heartwarming display of compassion, AECFoundation stepped in to support 10 students from Michael Okpara University of Agriculture (Umudike), Abia State facing a daunting academic hurdle. These students, on the brink of their exams, if not able to clear outstanding tuition fees wouldn’t be allowed to sit for their exams. The SUG President’s plea reached AECFoundation, and swift action followed.

Education being part of AECFoundation’s mission promptly covered the tuition fees, enabling these students to pursue their academic dreams without interruption. This timely intervention has not only alleviated immediate financial stress but also ignited hope in these young minds.

This act of kindness demonstrates the power of lighting the way to academic success.

People with disabilities are unique people that requires special attention amongst us.
These people are more likely to experience adverse socioeconomic outcomes such as less education, poorer health outcomes, and higher poverty rates.  Poverty may increase the risk of disability through malnutrition, inadequate access to healthcare, polluted environment, and lack of access to safe water and sanitation.
Disability may also increase the risk of poverty, through lack of employment and education opportunities.

And that is why Adaezez Emetu Care Foundation wants to be the hope and the light of these special ones in our midst on the 1st June, 2024. 💜

It was indeed a great Outreach today as Society of Women Accountants of Nigeria, Umuahia Chapter in Collaboration with Adaeze Emetu Care Foundation reached out to some young girls of Holy Rosary Secondary School, Umuahia in recognition of Children’s Day Celebration.

The Outreach covered career talk on Accounting, Health Talk on Menstrual hygiene and a talk about Zena Pad.

Finally, a Question and Answer session with gift presentation and distribution of free Zena Sanitary Pad.

The just concluded Student’s Outreach - AECFoundation in Partnership with which held on Friday 22nd March, 2024 at IBEKU HIGH SCHOOL was impactful.

The girls were educated on menstrual hygiene with free distribution of ZENA PADS .
During the interactive session of this outreach we got to know that some girls still make use of tissue paper, cotton wool & piece of materials to pad up while on their periods because;
I. They can’t afford these pads
II. Lack of knowledge about Sanitary Pads.
The Tech. Talk Session was intriguing were the importance of “Women in the Tech World” via UI/UX designs, Graphics Designs, Web Developers etc were simplified to the girls.
We also had a question and answering session with gifts of Zena Pads given to those who answered correctly.

The school management appreciated AECFoundation in Partnership with for coming and promise to continue with the awareness created.
